Baker's Drive-Thru — Restaurant in Upland

Today around 1140 I went to bakers. I attempted to place my order but was asked to hold which took almost two minutes. I order a plain cheeseburgers with a small fry and drink which cost a little over 8 dollars. I than waited for almost 16 minutes to get to the window and pay for my food. The person who was working the drive thru read back the wrong order, which I had to correct him, and than charged me . I than proceeded to wait for a few more minutes. All in all, I waited for almost 22 minute with three cars ahead of me.

I'm not sure why I went to bakers being that In & Out is not to far and it would have been cheaper and better service. I asked the mgr (damien) for the district managers number and he gave me a number for Veronica. I attempted to call it which learned that it was the number for the upland store. Damien apologized and said I gave u the wrong number.

I called the new number (corporate customer service) and was told that I would not be able to speak with veronica, but that I could leave my complaint with her. Her response was sorry and I can't comment on the service bakers offers versus in & out.

This Baker's has been around for a long while and has been visited by myself also for a long while. My review is based only verifiable facts and my personal opinion. With that being stated I can say that this location is well maintained with capable and professional management and staff. Almost every visit of mine has been satisfying and welcoming. One thing I feel I should bring up before concluding here is that the wait times can and should improve. My last visit (3 days before this review) I ordered shakes and the lady had them sitting at the window for almost five minutes after we already paid and didn't hand them to us untill the rest of the order was completed. By the time we did receive our food and shakes, the shakes were completely melted on the top and bottom. Only the very center of our shakes were cold and thick. This isn't a regular thing during my visits and is actually the only negative experience I can remember from all my visit here. This place is okay maybe it was a bad timing for me I'll give the timing the benefit of the doubt I was out for a ride on my Harley decided to stop and get a bite to eat. Well the french fries that are ordered seemed really old this frustrated me not over you to take a little while for them to bring my food to my table but they bring my food to my table with some old fries. the guy in charge i believe that's who he was he was nice about it. He said that I can have them or throw them away they did give me another order because they look old would I just threw them in the trash but he gave me a nice size order of fries and replace so that made things a lot better. Unfortunately they did try to pass off some old fries this is why they get the rating they got although any place would have replaced the fries this is one of the few places that was going to allow me to keep the french fries that they already gave me rather than one in them back he gave me the option to eat them or throw them away so that's...
