Eden & Clay — Restaurant in Upland

First and foremost, I know this coffee shop just opened and they're working through some kinks.

My review from Sat 8/9 visit at alrind 10am.

Food: we only had the pistachio croissant. Its delicious. I am not a sweets person, but it works well with their coffee.

Drinks: we had 2 drinks: Garden Gold with add shot and the Strawberry Matcha Latte. Both were iced. Garden golden was good, it just needs more ice. The strawberry matcha latte, I wanted to like it so bad, but it was so milky. Not creamy or frothy. It needed a lot more matcha. It basically tasted like strawberry milk. Not good at all.

Vibe: lots of natural light. Menu was easy to read, and the workers are VERY nice. You can tell they like their job.

Line: the line queue is so awkward. It needs to be outside. Way too many people inside hovering over the table in the middle with the tree. It is such an awkward placing for that table. If the line queue is moved outside, the guests eating inside can enjoy their coffee ans food in peace. We were legit hovering over the middle table and watching people eat. Also, because there were so many peiple inside the shop, it got loud, and with the music playing, you couldn't even hear your name when your order was called. Not to mention, lots of kids inside being really loud playing a game. It takes away from the coffee shop vibe. Also, a lot of people waiting for their drink by the bathroom. Prepare to wait for at least 30 mins from entering to leaving due to how busy and stuffy it was.

I do want to go back, but I won't have the matcha.

Hope the owners take the suggestions and do something about the layout and line queue. I do believe that will fix the majority...

This place is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff — super friendly and genuinely happy to help. The vibe inside is cozy yet modern, with beautiful aesthetics that make it a perfect spot to relax, work, or catch up with friends.

The drinks are top-tier — you can really tell they put care into every cup. Whether you’re into classic espresso or creative matcha/refresher twists , they’ve got you covered. The food menu has all the coffee shop staples. They have sweets like pastries and croissants and great warm sandwiches/paninis. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and made with love . The variety on the menu means there’s something for everyone.

It’s clear they’ve put a lot of heart into this place. Can’t recommend it enough! This is officially my new go-to...

Tried out Eden & Clay Coffee and I’m obsessed! 😍 I got their Holy Horchata🥤—it was the perfect balance of coffee flavor + sweetness 👌🏼 Not too strong, not too sugary…just right! 💫

They had sooo many pastries to choose from 🥐🍰 it was hard to decide 😅 but one of the associates recommended the UBE croissant and OMG it did not disappoint 😋 It was super soft, fresh, buttery & flaky 🧈💛 with the perfect Ube filling.

The vibes here are super chill 🌿✨ — such a cozy spot to hang out, sip coffee, and enjoy a sweet treat 🍮🩵

Can’t wait to go back and try...
