Hi Brow Pub — Restaurant in Upland

The "HI BROW Pub" is the "City of Upland's" version of the TV show "Cheers." We were immediately welcomed with open arms. It was kind of strange at first. Once we warmed up to the surroundings/ people the "walls of security " were lowered. "Taylor the bartender" literally guided us through the menu and cocktail suggestions. A real comforting feeling. Better than dealing with a "shrink " or the "clergy." The food selection is a wide array of bar food that you cannot go wrong. Especially, "Taco Thursday." I know it sounds strange. Dive in and take the blinders off. Great atmosphere, staff, food and drinks. We will definitely come back and forget about the traditional corporate food options. This pub is evolved to a somewhat low class and noisy outfit. They have a loud but cheap 9 by 12 inch speaker set up which along w screaming and yelling few makes it nearly impossible to finish a drink and get the hell out of there. The food is of poorest quality and oily but the price is right up there w a decent restaurant. We just got back home from being tortured there and wanted to call there and yell at them but decided an honest review was the best. The bill for a couple of hambugers and couple of beers was pretty steep. I will never go back and strongly advise you...

I loved everything about this little local neighborhood pub. I entered and immediately went and sat at the bar. Bartender greeted me very happily and friendly, and the service was absolutely impeccable. All the people in the bar were very friendly and chatty, and it felt very comfortable. The fish and chips were outstanding and they serve Pomona Queen Amber Ale. One of my favorites. I will definitely return very soon, even though I do not live in this area, but I’m in this area fairly often. Can’t wait to return. Just a fun...
