A few days ago I ran across this beautiful Agyption girl and she told me about this place and that it was really good. So, of course i had to check it out and all I can say, for a Christian from Germany I was amazed by the quality, taste and variety on today's Friday night buffet. It was just heavenly. Thank you pretty hostess it was amazing. So much to choose from and the quality is just insanely good. Nothing was over salted or greasy. Just perfect. The atmosphere was also amazingly welcoming. I bet me and my two kids were the only white Christians in this place tonight but I felt more comfortable around all those amazing and friendly Muslims than with a room full of Christians. The women were dressed so chick and beautiful. And all men looked very fine and well dressed. My kids 12 and 14 firm church goers (christian) even they could not believe how nice and friendly everything and everybody was. The staff is absolutely the best in SoCal. I mean take the top rated restaurants like ocean21, cellar, mission inn and all staff here easily trumps them. I was just amazed. At the beginning I felt a little weird but as soon as an older lovely gentlemen in front of me bumped into me while we were waiting in line apologized over and over, even though it was me that carelessly pumped into him. So with a big grin on out faces we argued who's fault it was. I told him he was my elder and therefore my fault but he didn't settle for that. Instead insisted that it was his fault since he was my elder. Just all around amazing experience. Price may be a bit high for some Americans but considere all the quality and variety plus best atmosphere I think it was very affordable. The chef in The picture also didn't hesitate to fill my plate with so much meet that I wondered if he wanted to kill me by over feeding...lol... Thank you Pretty hostess for letting me know about this heavenly place. And thank you for all the amazing guests and staff for making me feel like home and welcome. Me and my kids can't wait to get back. Thank you middle eastern people, owner of this place and all for this amazingly unique experience you gave me and my kids. I can't wait to be back. This is a very good place for kids cause they see how all these beautifull people with manners dine, pray and live with their customs. Very, very beautiful. I was also told that all guests and staff were fasting all day and at first I felt bad for them but after a short while I came to realize that if I know that I get this kind of heavenly feast after sun down it'll be easy to fast all day...lol... Thanks again to the owners, staff and amazing guests....from a 100% white German Christian....from the bottom of my heart, may God/Allah bless you with all the best in this...
Read moreIt’s a very long review, but if you care about where you’re spending your money, you might wanna read it. A 1 star for what we had to experience here. We had a late night out and this was among the few halal options we had open for the night. We drove close to 40 mins to get there and entered the restaurant at 10:59. As we walked in, the hostess looked at us and in the kindest and most apologetic way said that they only take customers till 10:55 and the kitchen closed at 11:30. So, even though the restaurant was supposed to be open for another 3 hours, they take their last customer a good 3 hrs before closing. We found it very strange and told them they should also put that on the website or google maps, so people would know. As we were leaving, we realized there was an option for reservations and tried to get a table there, just to check if the lady was indeed lying to us. So, we were able to reserve a table, not just for 11:30, but we saw that they were offering reservations till 1:30. A little strange if the kitchen closes at 11:30‘. So we walked back in with the reservation confirmation, asked the hostess to get us the manager and she goes in and comes back out within a second, mumbled something about if we’re 4 she can seat us( mind you we were a party of 4 the first time we went in too- we all went in both times). We got seated and then decided we still wanted to know why she would not seat us the first time, so we asked for the manager. A server walked to us and we asked if he was the manager. He said yes and we narrated the incident to him. He didn’t explain much, just said no, no, no, sorry‘ and pointed to the menus for us to place an order. Here is the funny part. We realized later that there was another guy who was in a coat and was probably the manager. A couple of other parties walked in after us and we were shocked. But by that time, we just wanted to get out of there. So we decided we’ll write down about our experience in a review and never go back again. We kept thinking all night, why the hostess felt she needed to not let us in. We were wearing jeans and shirts and sneakers and hijab. But we saw other people in hijabs, jeans, sneakers. So there wasn’t anything wrong with our attire. We’re still confused and have decided to never go there again. Being disrespected once is...
Read moreThis place is a ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! From the decor to the food to the hookah everything was an experience! Walking in you're greeted by the story of Kahramana and beautiful modern decor. We were seated right away and the entire staff was courteous and super helpful! We sat and browsed the menu and were shortly approached by our server, who was very polite and took our order.
Appetizer's: 5/5 We ordered the Fried Kubbah, the cheese Khubbah, Fries and Hummus for our appetizers. Everything came relatively quick and could tell that everything is made fresh and not frozen. We were served the hummus along with their house made bread which was amazing. The taste was honestly some of the best food we have had. The best part was honestly the freshness which made everything phenomenal.
Drinks: 5/5 We ordered some of their mocktails including the Red Bottom and the South of the Border (Pina Colada). I had the red bottom personally which was great. A nice blaxkberry blend drink with great presentation and taste. The pina colada was served very similarly with great presentation and was told that it tasted great as well.
Main Course: 5/5 This was the gem of the restaurant. We ordered the Rib eye tikka skewers, the chicken skewers and the mixed grill platter. You could tell that the food is made fresh and not frozen and honestly I wish more restaurants did their food this way. Everything tasted so juicy and tender my entire group was mind blown. Particularly the rib eye tikka was TO DIE FOR! So tender and juicy that im definitely coming back for it.
Hookah: 5/5 We ordered their own special mix called the Kahramana special and it was great. My dad does not smoke and even he was enjoying it and sitting and smoking.
Honestly speaking this entire experience at Kahramana was fabulous and we throughly enjoyed our time here. Will definitely be coming back and would highly...
