Geo’s Steaks? More like Geo’s Heartbreak. Let me break it down: the steak was hard, chewy, and completely lackluster — every bite felt like a jaw workout I didn’t sign up for. I ordered the “chopped” version and… surprise! There was nothing to chop because I spent the whole meal literally chewing my way through a meat maze. Bread was the only bright spot, soft and fine, but one fluffy roll doesn’t make up for a disaster. Fries were $7 — yes, seven dollars — and while they appeared to be real potato, they were flavorless, bland, and a total letdown. And let’s talk about DoorDash advertising a $4 Coke “discount” — I got a tiny glass bottle, not the regular bottle advertised. Classic bait-and-switch. Honestly, this meal ended up as dog food for my German Shepherd. Even he looked at me like, “Really?” I’m a cheesesteak aficionado, and this was subpar, I’ve had better meat at a Chinese takeout. In this area, there’s Delco Steaks and Leo’s — both infinitely better and worth every bite. The only positive? The beverage that wasn’t even what I ordered. Everything else was a chewy, flavorless, overpriced nightmare. Geo’s, you might have a name for steaks, but you clearly missed the mark on making them edible. I’ll never order here again — save your money, save your jaw, and head to literally anywhere else. For $26 a total JOKE. To add, this sandwich was NEVER eaten, hence the FULL PICTURE of it in the review. False review for what? Take the good with the bad- Im used to REAL philadelphia cheesesteaks- had the best from all parts of philadelphia and surrounding areas who use FRESH REAL MEAT. This missed thr mark by far- the only thing that would suffice thus tragedy was a REFUND..and maybe I should have asked for that..but instead I decided to leave a REAL REVIEW. If you love cheesesteaks dont waste your money here.

Damn that was a good steak. And I only stopped here because this was the only place open past ten as I get out of work late, and I never drive up that part of Delco unless passing through so I didn’t even know it existed, frankly. Gentleman at the counter (the owner?) closing up shop was a chill, friendly dude, with good vibes. Great service. I got the steak with the long hots, and an order of cheese fries for myself. This is definitely enough for two meals. I thought to myself, “this guy knows what he’s doing” when I opened both the packages. The fries were definitely hand cut and thick, adding a nice texture and bite, flat enough that it was crisp, and thick and wide enough to give the fries a nice body with every bite that was perfect and satisfying. They also had the skin on that gave it extra flavour and texture. I’m gonna be honest, these are probably the best hand cut fries I’ve seen. The cheesesteak was fantastic. Meat was delicious and juicy, perfectly cooked, not too thin or thick shredded beef, and the prov’ cheese was actually a pretty good choice to complement the long hot pepper which was also juicy, crisp, and ripe with a pleasant, mild heat. Provolone is not my first choice personally, but it did a wonderful job. I might still try cooper instead next time. The generously seeded roll was a PERFECT choice to hold all of the previously mentioned goodness. I’ve eaten at Pat’s, Geno’s Jims’ South St., Gooey Louie’s, Leo’s, Cleavers, Ishkabibbles, SQ Phillips, Tony Lukes, and countless others I don’t care to mention. If I had to pick a place to get a cheesesteak, this and only one other place in delco, surprisingly, would be my choice. Would definitely eat again, and looking forward to trying the other sandwiches as well.

What in the Delaware County is this? This is NOT a philly Cheesesteak whatsoever. And I've had SEVERAL, being from Philly. We decided to try this new spot after driving by a few times. I ordered mayo, onions, whiz, SPK. The meat is not even chopped up which is a HUGE disappointment. The meat is also pretty bland. There was alittle bit of mayo on only one side of the roll and the whiz is slapped on top instead of on the roll. I had to add mayo and more SPK when I got home (the pics show my added condiments). I also had the "banana pudding". Do yourself a favor and skip that. It's banana flavored "pudding" and I have NO IDEA what kind of cookies are in them, but they are HORRIBLE. The girl behind the counter told me it was good. She know good and damn well it wasn't lol. The fries are really good though. And the service was good. This steak was too expensive for it to be this bad. I ate as much as I could tolerate then it got trashed. We will NOT be returning. Wish them the best.

Ohhh my goodness! During my travels I came across this small simple sandwich shop. I reviewed the menu and made my choice for a Philly Cheesesteak, onions, peppers, bacon and provolone cheese along with a order of fries. I sat in the dining room area and watched as people came in and out, door dashers came in and out along with the phone ringing it seemed like this place has made a name for itself with a continuous flow of traffic and orders. As the tray was delivered to my table the 5 minute or so wait for my food was well worth it and after my first bite, I would have graciously waited any amount of time! Oh MY WOW! The meat was so fresh, juicy, cooked perfectly my mouth watered until the next bite. The flavor had my taste buds in a frenzy of enjoyment. Now I travel all around the Southeast, Southwest, Northeast, East Coast and some of the West Coast and I can tell you that I have had my fare share of Philly's and I thought that most of them were good, well all the ones that I have eaten DO NOT COMPARE TO THIS! Geo's Steaks knocks it out of the park. I got the opportunity to meet the owner and he is a very humble, honest and generous man. We sat and talked for a bit and he explained his process of making these unbelievable steaks. He uses REAL RIB EYE and shaves the meat right in his restaurant and even showed me the meat, the fresh veggies and a small portion of his secret to cooking it that I can't share with anyone. My friends, stop in and see George "Geo" and let your tastebuds be the judge. You Will Not Be Disappointed! Unfortunately my phone did not save the picture that I took, but the sandwiches are HUGE! I came in a customer but left as a friend and that is truly worth more than anything! Thanks Geo! I look forward to eating here again and highly recommend you...

I've ordered from Geo's twice now and they are the BEST cheesesteaks I have ever had. I'm in my 40s and I've eaten A LOT of different cheesesteaks in my life. The first time I ordered, my mother and my wife both said they were the best cheesesteaks they've ever had, and we all kept bringing up how good they were, for the rest of the night. Their steak is 100% Prime Rib, and you can taste it. Their seeded rolls are also excellent, and with the 100% Prime Rib, the combination is perfect. They also have the option of unseeded rolls as well. That is what my wife gets. Tonight I met the owner, who is a really nice dude. I was telling him how much we loved the steaks, and that's why I was back. He told me his goal was to offer cheesesteaks that are made with the best quality and healthy meats, etc. Because they are 100% Prime Rib, my Mother remarked they are not greasy, but are still incredibly flavorful. All my life, since I was a kid, my family has always ordered our steaks from another local shop, Leo's Steaks. Geo's meat/steak and their rolls are SUPERIOR. You can also have your steak not chopped or chopped. I like their unchopped steak very much, as does my Mother. My wife gets hers chopped. Their chicken fingers are good and they also make really good hand cut fries/cheese fries, that are BIG and less than $6. That's another thing. Their steaks are superior to Leo's and they're cheaper. They have five different cheeses to choose from and MANY other toppings you can add. I get bacon on mine. They also make many different sandwiches. I am looking forward to trying their Italian Hoagie. Me, My Wife and My Mother have all decided Geo's is our NEW go to shop, for cheesesteaks, hoagies, etc. Check Geo's out. I don't think you'll be...
