Stopped in for dinner after work. 2 of us felt like having breakfast for dinner and ordered an omelet. It sounded pretty good, so 2 of us got one. While the 3rd order a toasted something or another. His looked really good and delicious while ours looked nothing like what we expected. Even had to Google what an omelet looked like, and no Pennsylvania makes omelets like everywhere else. Just not at this diner. One of the guys ate his cause he was just hungry. Me, I guess I couldn't get pasted how many potatoes were used to mix with the eggs. Look nothing like an omelet. It's just a mixture of stuff. The added order of potato skins didn't help matter. Could tell they were put in a microwave just a little too long. Ate one cause we were hungry, then they dried up, making them worse. Waitress was nice and dealing with her own issues. If it wasn't for her dealing with her crap and my buddy's birthday, we might have said a lot more than we did. They should have never served this while trying to pass it off as an omelet. The moral to my story. Learn how to...

First and foremost, I love this diner. I eat here often and rarely have a problem. Today, however, I was disappointed. I ordered an omelet and asked for the veggies to be well done. (I have never ordered an omelet here before so I do not know how their potatoes are served). My plate came out and the potatoes were well done and there were peppers and onions that were also well done on the potatoes. I didn't question this as I ordered my omelet with well done veggies, I should have realized there was a problem since the veggies in the omelet were not well done. So, the bill comes and it is $2.00 more than I was expecting. I brought it up at the register and I was told that because I ate the potatoes that they couldn't do anything about the fee. Again, I don't know how the potatoes usually are prepared so I offered to split the difference and was told no. I paid the bill but I just wanted this out there. Most importantly, I really do love this diner. I just wish they had done anything to rectify my issue and take part of the...

At eight in the morning on a Thursday there was a pretty decent crowd inside, but still plenty of seating. Our waitress was super nice and very attentive. Had their Two egg plate with the Pork Roll and the French toast. Never had pork roll, but it was good! The food came out fast, was hot and fresh and they didn’t skimp on the portion. The only con on the food was the over easy eggs were medium and the French toast could have had, well a lil more French to them. They were a little lite in the flavor dept. The prices were fair and I felt like I got the bang with my buck. Looking at the decor you can tell the diner has been around a long time and could probably use a little TLC (ex: our seats had some duct tape repairs), but that was also part of the charm of the place. All & all the experience was decent and I’m glad I...

Good quality food and friendly service. Our family stopped by Mt Bethel Diner in Feb 2025 for an early dinner. The place is a typical small diner. All the food we ordered was tasty and of good quality. The service was quick, friendly, and accurate. Portions were generous. Prices were very reasonable. This is not of course an upscale restaurant but for a small diner it gets 5 stars. Very importantly my burger was done exactly as ordered - medium rare! Thanks! Food ordered Boneless Chicken Wings - this is in fact regular chicken nuggets, as it's what "boneless wings" are. Spinach Pie - great! A bit on salty side, but within normal range. French Onion Soup Tomato Soup Chicken Fingers Philly Cheesesteak Italian Steak Sandwich Mushroom Burger Deluxe
