Slate Belt Museum — Attraction in Upper Mount Bethel Township

Great place for information about the history of the area. Completely maintained by volunteers who are local and knowledgeable. Having Welsh ancestors, I was interested to learn about the Welsh heritage of the slate mines. The old church this museum is located in is a great piece of history as well.
