Mt.Bethel Pizza — Restaurant in Upper Mount Bethel Township

Went in there to pick up two pies and garlic knots and I walked up to the counter, and the owner cut me off while talking to start patronizing a gentleman who allowed his three-year-old toddler to use the restroom because they didn’t purchase anything, but instead had gone to the pharmacy in the plaza. He was not only rude to me but incredibly rude to this other person who is clearly local. After the gentleman and the daughter leave, I again approached the counter stating I’m there to pick up my order. I get cut off again while speaking, for him to tell another girl that her order is ready. On the phone I was told the order was $49.87 but then I got to the counter and the total was $51.86 because of a $1.99 ‘leverage fee’ that I was never told anything about. I had $50 on my card and because I had no knowledge of the additional fee that was added, the payment was only approved for $50 even. He instructed me that he canceled the payment as he waves the receipt for the cancellation in my face, and sets it on the counter. Then I told him I would pay for it via another card that would cover the full balance, and that went through. He proceeds to take a personal phone call while I’m at the counter trying to make payment. After hanging up his phone call, he instructed me that the money would go back onto the card. It’s now been two weeks and I have not received any of the funds, so I was charged twice. I tried to call to have this addressed and was immediately hung up on as soon as they answered. As the payment has posted, I’ve since filed the dispute with the bank. They’ve lost my business. I cannot support a local business that cannot support its own...

In town for a wedding, I ordered two pizzas. 1pizza with 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 cheese the other pizza with sausage peppers onions and mushrooms. 12 wings mild and garlic bread. The man who took my order instead of repeating it back to me, told me about a national chicken wing shortage and the price of wings. He told me give him 20 to 25 minutes and pick it up. I came in 30 minutes later and order wasn’t ready. One of my pizzas was ready and the wings and bread were ready but one pizza was not ready. I waited in the store another 15 minutes while they made my pizza so that is 45 minutes after they told me it would be 20-25 minutes. Then when my second pizza was done and my other food had sat there for 20 minutes it was a plain cheese pizza no sausage no mushrooms no peppers no onions. The people in the restaurant were nice, and the restaurant was busy for takeout with 5 orders going out while I waited. BEST NY STYLE PIZZA!!! This place has everything you want when coming to a pizza shop! Right when you walk into the door you feel like family. Everyone that works here is so amazing! The pizza’s I ordered were hot and DELICIOUS! No matter if it’s takeout or eating in all this food is perfect! Eating there feels like home with these owners!!
