Catty Corner Neighborhood Pub and Pie Nazareth — Restaurant in Upper Nazareth Township

This review is solely based on seating, service and offerings. First, seating is crowded. Tables set for 6 really can only accommodate 4. Patrons sitting against the wall will be uncomfortable. As for service, we were given a waitress who has only been there 1 week. She knew very little about the menu and couldn't answer any questions. Every question required her to leave and come back. Being new and not knowing much is somewhat understandable. What's not underatandable is why is she not being shadowed by someone with experience. The interaction became very annoying. Also, the place was not very loud yet we constantly had to repeat ourselves, again adding to a bad start. We discovered this place from a TikTok commercial which showed large portions and various offerings. Very few items they advertised were actually on the menu. One such offering was a pretzel dish loaded with meats and cheese. The manager told us so many people ask for it, but it's a special they do sometimes. So if "so many people" are asking for it, shouldn't it be offered. We placed an order for generic plates we can get anywhere else but within 5 minutes of seeing other customers and what the plates looked like, we decided to cancel our orders and leave. The portions DO NOT match the prices. Even the table next to us commented on the prices and thought about canceling themselves. We cancelled the order just as the waitress had put the order in the computer. As the waitress passed our table and we asked to cancel, she asked us 5 questions about canceling, making a small scene that got rather unsettling as each question I answered with a simple "we just want to cancel the order." This wasted about 5 minutes, and then 5 minutes later the manager comes out asking questions. This is where we commented on items not being on the menu, etc. And again cancelled our orders and expressed we just want to pay for our sodas. The manager said nothing of this being a problem while at our table. 10 minutes later we are still waiting for our check, my wife decides to go to the car with our kids with her and I stand up and wait by the waitress station to pay our check. Another 5 minutes go by with no check when the manager comes out and says, "what do you want to do about the food?" I told her we cancelled it and only intend to pay for the drinks. She said the food was already cooked. Sorry but your delay tactic of wasting 25 minutes after we cancelled the order is not going to fly. She then politely yet sternly in her most manager-like voice then tells me that we are no longer allowed in the establishment. Sorry this is not that big of a loss since we had no intentions of returning, but congrats on losing out on the drinks...

Went for the first time with my elderly parents for dinner and this new location did not disappoint. The drinks were great and reasonably priced. The food was excellent. My father had a salad with steak, I had the avocado chicken salad. Both the steak and the chicken were cooked perfectly, very tender with a lot of flavor. If there’s just one little suggestion I’d make, I’d love to see homemade salad dressings instead of packs of dressing. My daughter’s sandwich and wife’s quesadilla were very tasty. Jake was our server and he was extremely attentive, so were the others who served our food and cleared our table. The owner Jay came by to see how everything was. He’s so nice and committed to his customers. We will definitely be back to try other items, the tacos looked amazing! Decor is an industrial vibe and very cool, very clean. Alright how should I start I will say go and try it and give them a chance as a former restaurant owner I understand how hard it is to preform in a new location and how hard it is to get all the same provisions in a different area so let's do a dive we had 10 wings fried with sauce on the side sauce was tasty wings lack in any flavor no bite or salty nothing but not bad we also had a small spicy Hawaiian pizza which was full of toppings ham bacon pineapple and a sauce and was very tasty but after a few bites it became very salty we also got a grandma pie and that was a hit not your traditional grandma pie but definitely will hit the spot the garlic knots were on point 100 percent service was great for the time I spent inside and a very nice and clean establishment will be back forsure to try different...
