First time at the establishment after being in Nazareth for 12 years. Honestly didn't try because reviews back then were not favorable. Decided to go on in the other night to give it a try. Inside is a lot smaller than I expected. L shaped area of seating. Very warm inside being so close to the stove. Asked to sit outside since it was a beautiful evening. Very helpful and nice waitress. Ordered onion rings as an app with a pepperoni pizza. Both our sodas were off tasting. I had a root beer that tasted of mainly of the carbonation. Asked for a sprite instead and still tasted of carbonation. That usually means the syrup is running out and should be changed.Didn't bother to ask for another drink, just stook with it. The onion rings didn't taste of even onion. Just breading. Two pieces burnt. Served with ketchup. Would be better with honey mustard or a Chipotle sauce. Pizza came out pretty quick. Read moreStopped here twice for lunch while visiting Martin Guitar factory. I have Celiac disease so gluten-free options are a must for me. Owner said he could make all but two chicken dinners GF. I picked chicken parm, which was one of the two, but he made me grilled chicken parm anyway! It and the GF penne were very good and the portions were generous. It was better than what I've had at a fancy restaurant close to home. The second time I chose the GF pizza. It comes in it's own foil pan and with a sealed pizza cutter so there is no cross contamination. This GF crust reminded me of flatbread. No flavor at all...like none! no seasoning in the sauce or the ricotta ...not even salt! It was like a can of salt free Heinz crushed tomato layered over bland fried eggplant. The spinach in the ricotta was raw also unseasoned ...all topped with barely melted cheese. My husband had the chicken francese and also said it was flavorless with less than the standard amount of sauce, even though he has asked for extra...with the one good comment that the chix was tender.
