Pic shows the dirty clipboard they hand u in the drive thru. Kind of old fashioned to make u sign and not too sanitary after a pandemic.
It’s hit or miss on the food quality. Also I’ve had my entire pizza made wrong before for pickup orders where they’ve randomly put sausage when I didn’t order that at all and I’m vegetarian.
I always check my food before leaving the pick up window or parking lot because nobody wants to pay like $20 for a pizza only to find it’s made with completely wrong toppings.
Also sometimes the breadsticks for pickup orders have been VERY overcooked and burnt on edges.
Also I recommend to the owners that they switch to boxes for pizza instead of the aluminum foil and paper wrap because putting a hot pizza in foil causes a lot of condensation which causes soggy pizza. Idk why a pizza restaurant would use aluminum foil and paper wrap instead of pizza boxes because it definitely affects the quality of the product.
Also I used to dine into this location frequently and it was not very clean. Sticky salt and pepper containers and sticky tables etc. And having carpet on the dining area of a restaurant is never a good idea and has to surely harbor so many germs from all that foot traffic. Definitely needs a deep cleaning overall.
Also they don’t usually give you a fork for pasta orders or sometimes even for salads for pickup orders unless you ask for a fork.
Also sometimes they don’t ask for your name when you call to place a pickup order so when you get to the pickup window it’s kind of a free-for-all about whose order is whose.
But perks of this restaurant is that the staff is usually nice and that sometimes the food is good and they often have coupons if you subscribe to their email coupon list.
Also another perk is how they have a pickup window. However, at pickup window they hand you a grimy very used condition clipboard 📋 to sign receipt for pickup orders. This literally gives such a tacky feel to the experience. There’s a dollar tree right down the street with clipboards for $1.25. If you own a restaurant please replace items like...
Read moreWorst Monicals experience ever! Our server was new so she was very slow, which we could have looked past....but then she must have forgotten to put our order in as we waited almost an hour for 1 14”thin crust pizza and 1 individual pizza! We were thirsty because she never refilled our drinks. But the best part came when we got our check! We reviewed the bill item by item and it was correct so we gave her our debit card. When she finally returned with it, the amount she charged was different (more) than the original bill! We asked for an explanation and she asked another server for help who acted like we were idiots and insisted that she had just brought us the wrong ticket before because this was the right receipt and the right amount (despite us explaining that we had thoroughly reviewed the original ticket). When we tried to insist there was a problem he got mouthy and told us to have a great night and just walked off! We spoke to the manager before we left but genuinely felt he didn’t see the problem with his employee’s attitude. When we got to the car we looked at the final receipt again and found that the reason the amount was different was that she/he/they had added a tip before charging my card!!! We went back inside and spoke to the manager AGAIN to get the charge corrected and demanded they return the signed credit card slips where we had added a tip manually. If you eat here, pay attention to your receipts, they are scamming people to get extra tips!!! If you want great Monicals just...

Over an hour later I received a pizza that had ridden around for so long it had absolutely no crispness. It could no longer be pulled into separate pieces it was just a mushy mess. And tops to the 2 salad dressing containers had popped off in the bag so my salad was swimming in a bag of creamy Italian. Not that it made much difference as there was barely any toppings on the lettuce. $50+ later I have learned my lesson and will NEVER spend my money there again. Sad.
This is one of my favorite pizzas in the world! You got to get the Italian special, thin crust of course oh, but you have to eat it at the restaurant because as soon as you leave with it it starts to get soggy. If you travel with it for 30 minutes it's almost like wet cardboard. Maybe you can vent the bag so the steam doesn't soften the crust, but if you eat it at the restaurant it is the crispiest crust and probably my all-time favorite. Again make sure to get the Italian special with pepperoncinis sausage olives and...
