I wanted to leave a good review but here's the facts. Stopped in for a taco on my long drive home up north. My order was given to someone in the drive through by mistake, after 30-45 minutes the waitress realized this, as I was looking hungry, pero nada comida!(no food) Hey accidents happen. I was in a hurry so ordered a fajita taco. And if course they are better than every other Mexican place on the planet so they are the ones that charge you for chips and salsa. Because? Yeah not better. The fajita taco comes out obviously late and with nothing in the way of hot sauce, and I have eaten the salsa I had to buy as I sat reading a book waiting. I'm still cool though, I had a nice conversation with Julio, the owner while I waited. I asked the waitress whether they had some pico because the taco came out with nothing. Sure! She brings enough for a taco out and I'm good. I eat and go to pay at the counter. The bill seems high? I look at it, the taco is 3.99 I have been charged 3.29 for pico. After the taco being 30 minutes late. Then the hostess turns the screen to me with the "how much would you like to tip" screen starting with 18 percent! For those of you who have made it through this slog. The fajita taco itself was well and good flavorful, but the meat was low quality to the extent that in one taco I had to expell two mouthfuls of inedible grizzle. I may have been just unlucky, there are bad days but that bit with the pico is just rude. There are better places that are not so full of themselves. Give them...

There were several cars in this parking lot, usually an indication that this place might have a good menu. When we went in we noticed the place has many customers. There was only one waitress (Ashley) that morning and she was very efficient and was able to provide excellent customer service to all the customers. She was at every table serving the breakfast plates and pouring coffee. There had to be 20-25 customers there and she never missed a beat. I was impressed! I ordered one Chorizo and egg taco and it was huge with plenty of eggs and chorizo. It was very good! I also did something I’ve never done before at a Mexican Restaurant, I ordered coffee. Every Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to has exceptionally lousy coffee. I was pleasantly surprised as the coffee was great! I queried my table mates and they agreed the coffee was very good! Read moreJulio’s is hands down a staple in our community! The staff is always warm, friendly, and genuinely accommodating…it’s the kind of place where you feel right at home the second you walk in. Their food? Phenomenal. We’re religious about getting breakfast tacos from there, and they never disappoint. The best part? Even when they’re slammed, the wait is never long. On my last visit, a woman ahead of me ordered over 100 tacos (yes, 100+), and somehow mine still came out hot and fast. That kind of efficiency, paired with small-town charm and unbeatable flavor, is exactly why Julio’s will always have our business.
Highly recommend trying their sweet tea! It slaps, Texas style! And honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We love all their breakfast tacos, the fajita plate, and enchiladas. They also have my favorite rice, charro beans, and...
