Dining at this Italian restaurant was an extraordinary experience, from the moment we stepped through the doors to the final bite of dessert. It’s clear that every dish is crafted with care and passion, thanks to the talented chefs who double as the owners. I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Feiti—if I’m spelling that right—and his warm and genuine nature set the tone for the entire visit. This family-oriented gem truly embodies the spirit of hospitality, with their little ones acting as delightful hosts, adding a special touch that made us feel right at home. And how can I forget about our waiter she was a sweetheart and gave out amazing recommendations.
Our culinary journey began with an artichoke dip that was nothing short of perfection—rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. Next, we were treated to their famous garlic knots. Soft, fluffy, and perfectly seasoned, each bite was a testament to the skill and love put into the preparation.
For the main course, I indulged in the Shrimp Scampi, which was exquisite. The dish was light, balanced, and packed with a harmonious blend of garlic and lemon that danced on my palate. My husband opted for the chicken version, which was equally delightful—neither dish felt heavy, just purely satisfying.
Just when we thought the experience couldn’t get better, we tried the tiramisu. It was the perfect finale—layered, rich, and a must-try for anyone visiting.
From start to finish, the welcoming atmosphere and impeccable service made us feel like cherished guests. Thank you again, Chef Feiti, for an unforgettable meal and an evening filled with warmth and flavor. We will definitely be back...
Read morePlease do not confuse this review withe Hondo, TX location. That one is awesome. This one needs a lot of help. I try not to give bad reviews. When the place is the worst place you've been to in awhile... something must be said. Waitress was worthless and maybe it's because food was worthless and she knew it. Asked what specials were, oh I forget, no attempt to go and find out. Ordering food, she take others orders, gets mine and I ask if it comes with salad, oh yes it does. I knew this from Hondo experience. Doesn't bother to ask others if they want salad with their meal until she brings me mine. Food was the worst and all agreed with that in our group. Each had a different entrée. None could eat much of it. Rolls that were brought to table were stale. Hard and dry. Ask for them to be taken back. No attempt to replace. I'm hoping that the Hondo restaurant sees this and are the ones in charge of all the Luigi's. Something must be done or this restaurant will fail, if it is not to late. Sorry if I hurt anyone's feeling with this. But when 3 people eat out and it comes to 65.00 and nothing but my salad was edible, something...
Read moreEl Herradero de Jalisco definitely helped us in finding a jewel in Luigi’s.
At El Herrado, after being seated we waited 10 min before getting up and asking for a server to take our order. Then after our order was taken, we waited another 30 min before asking about our food. This was because customers seated after us received their plates. After speaking to “a manager” aka older waitress, we decided to leave asking them to take the tea drinks off of our ticket because of poor customer service. We arrived at 12:48 and left without eating at 1:40
Then went two blocks east to Luigi’s. They were quick to give us menus, take our order, and bring our bread and salads quickly. The waitress was friendly and checked in on us periodically. The food was delicious, and the restaurant was clean. We sent our compliments to the chef.
