I only went there for 1 item, a large sized Shamrock Shake. The person taking the order was difficult to understand. He repeatedly said “small Shamrock Shake”. And I attempted to correct that I wanted a Large. I was questioning if they only sold 1 size, and if he was even understanding what I was saying. Did I hear him right ? So then I get to the window to pay. Again he says, “Small Shamrock Shake”.. And I repeat, No. I’m wanting to get a Large. He takes my card, finishes the transaction, and hands me my card back. As I pull ahead, I notice that I was indeed charged for a Large, So ok.. That part is at least making sense. I am surprised that a shake costs over $5. But not really a huge surprise, as the cost of everything has become so ridiculous. Even still, I would have left this alone, and just wrote it off as mediocre at best Fast Food Service. I can’t believe that I am taking time out of my day to complain that my daughters cup had a puncture seemingly stabbed through the cup, perfectly across and through the other side. It seriously looks just as I’m explaining. The entry point being larger, and the exit point being smaller. This was an order for only 1 item. And here we are. I’m disgusted beyond words right now. And this won’t happen again, because I won’t be back. McDonald’s, you’d better get your boy in check. He’s going to lose you a lot of business. I know how badly most businesses are struggling in these difficult times. Letting these angry people disrespect your customers like this is most definitely going to affect your bottom line. ($) So if you are failing, this is why. Your employee’s have zero respect and consideration for the customers who are paying their salary. You’ll hear nothing more from me. I’m done. Now do with this...
Read moreNormally my experiences here are pleasant, but for my most recent that was certainly not the case. I stopped by at about 11:30pm on a Friday night -- upon pulling up to the drive through, I was very rudely made aware "It's going to be at least 15 minutes before I can take your order," despite there being nobody in line. I was extremely hungry, and with my food options being limited, I replied, "No problem at all, I'm happy to wait." This was returned with -- "It's cash only right now too,' which was further delivered in a rude tone, reinforcing the fact that they were very clearly just trying to get rid of me. Rather than concede that easily, in as happy of a tone as I could muster, I responded, "No worries -- I have cash -- What's next? I'll receive a free punch in the nose with my order?" in an attempt to make light of the fact that despite my best efforts, they were being very rude. At this point, a manager hops on the intercom screaming full throttle at me that she is going to call the cops for "threatening her employee." I kindly tried to explain that I wasn't threatening anyone, and explained that I had asked the question if they were going to punch me in the face, as it was quite obvious they were trying to get rid of me. The manager had the same terrible attitude as the employee, and rather than continuing to argue with a couple of people that were clearly trying to take out their bad evening on me, I decided I'd cut my losses and leave. Other trips during the day have by and large been great, but this trip alone has been enough to where I avoid this location when any other option...
Read moreWhat the heck has gone wrong with McDonalds? It's no longer just one store.. three stores in the Fenton area and now this one just outside of Valley Park. Why have dual drive through lanes if you are going to completely ignore one of them while the person in the other one spends a full five minutes to decide what they want? I sat there FIVE FULL MINUTES. No welcome to MCD.. no "I'll be with you in just a moment'. Nothing. After five minutes I drive around the building to see the order taker inside the window playing with their phone. Seriously? The management need to be fired, the second drive through order taker needs to be ripped out and the corporate ownership needs to get a handle on this because I can't find a McDonalds anymore where even mediocre service exists. I have come to believe no one from the employees to the franchise owners all the way to the CEO of McDonalds cares at all about the customers or the level of service they give because this is atrocious, and I guarantee it will be a LONG LONG TIME before I even consider doing business again. Too many restaurants that provide at least an average level of service. McDonalds can't even manager that anymore.
The management of this store should be embarrassed they are operating like this but they probably don't care. Guess that's why almost every review is one or two stars. Your establishment should just shutter and board up at this rate because sooner or later no one will want to go there anymore and somewhere the management knows this...
