Waffle House — Restaurant in Valley

We visited your restaurant a little over a month ago, The experience we had with your service on fob james drive was not up to customer standards. There were not any clean tables when we arrived, one of the waitresses had to clear a table for us to sit...Our waitress Linda, I believe her name was, (shes the older lady) was RUDE with my 4 year old, stating "You better not be loud because I have a headache", in a very harsh tone. Upsetting my 4 year old. I dont care if you have a headache, you dont talk to your customers that way under any circumstances! Especially a small child. The waitress took an extremely long time to take our orders. We sat waiting for someone to order our drinks after we had finally been seated,for 15 minutes. There was only one other person in the store at this time... She took an additional 10 minutes to get our drinks, then she left the front of the store, leaving us waiting for her to take our order. She came 15 minutes later and took our order, The cook had to come serve our drinks, we after waiting for a total of 30 minutes we finally got our order placed and the waitress forgot to place half of our order, the food my husband ordered was not correct, she didnt bring the rest of our order once it was cooked, leaving the cook to bring it to us. Once asked to refill our drinks she huffed about it and took her time to refill the drinks. Her attitude about serving us was all around terrible. I would give her a 0 on the scale from 1-10. I have NEVER had such rude and terrible service in my life. The other waitress was how ever very kind and corrected what she had messed up. We have not been back since. We will not be returning either!! It dose not even deserve a star. but I have to rate...

Good food, good people. Goodness gracious.. If you're looking for a place to eat this, waffle House is a great, clean environment to eat no matter the time of day. I remember when Wanda Scott worked here she went the extra mile. God rest her soul to make sure that you were happy. Out of all the people I've ever encountered in a restaurant business, this girl went the extra mile she would special waffles for the kids and she made special eggs for me. They don't make them like that anymore. Wanda will be well missed. She was such a great girl. We love you. Wanda. Hannah was one of the best server's I've ever had at any restaurant in general, nice, friendly and understood my very specific food request. Everything was perfect and my compliments to the cook as well! Also, wanted to add- I'm "white looking" and my other half is Afro-Hispanic. We were traveling from another state and were treated with upmost respect by staff and even other "White" customers were just as friendly and respectful to the both of us. Good job Waffle House, those two young ladies changed my previous perception and erased all prior "not so good" experiences that I have had in the past at other locations throughout 5 different states.
