Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Valparaiso

This location used to be my favorite. When Dennis was in charge, the employees were always very professional. Over the last 2 years I’ve noticed a change in employees, and customer service was usually okay. Not too bad, but not good either. However, after my last 2 encounters, my friend and I have both decided not to buy from here anymore until a change is made. The kids here are rude and unthankful. One of them literally shoved the pizza into my chest, then turned and walked away. Other than me giving a tip, signing the receipt and saying “thank you”, nothing else was done or said. He didn’t say thank you or anything. He shoved the pizza box to my chest then turned and walked away. I didn’t say anything about it to him, as I thought he may possibly have some sort of personality disorder. Well, about 2 weeks later, I went to pick up another order. The same big blonde-headed boy came out. I sat in my car as I had previously done, and I tapped the button on the app to let them know I had arrived. The kid brought me my receipt, and I signed it and also left a tip for a few dollars. Then, that kid, who was holding my pizza, without saying a word, took my signed receipt with his other hand, turned around, and then walked about 20 feet away and put my pizza down. He then walked back my direction, passed right by my door and towards the back of the store and went inside. I got out of my car and walked over and picked up my pizza, still trying to process what this kid’s problem is, then as I was walking back to my car, I glanced in the window and saw him and one of the other guys looking at me and laughing. That finally struck a nerve with me, so I called the store and asked for them to send the manager outside to talk to me, along with my receipt so I could remove the tip. The manager didn’t bring out my signed receipt, but instead printed another one for me to sign. I told him what happened, and he smiled and said “well, I’ll talk to him.” He just said he didn’t know why the kid had acted like that the past two times, and he wouldn’t comment about them laughing at me from inside. He just turned and walked away and said again “I’ll talk to him.” There was no making things right and no attempt to keep my business, so I decided they had lost it, after being a regular customer with them for 7 years straight. So for 3 months now, I’ve not placed a single order with that...

I ordered 2 pizzas, modified pacific pizza and Cali chicken, and wings. The Pacific pizza was awesome, but the Cali Chicken lack consistency in amounts of toppings and Toppings were not evenly spread over pizza. Toppings were quite skimpy too. I literally observed the cook Penney-pinching the toppings morsel after morsel.

I’ve never had Dominos bone in wings until tonight. Not good at all. First, the winglets were dwarf size and soggy. I ask that the wings are run through the oven twice to ensure a somewhat crispy texture. Not so, below average—too small and too soft. I’m sorry, but texture and size matters... While I will give the Val-P Dominos pizza another try, I’m completely against ordering the under sized, under cooked winglets. Awful! I was shocked how small it was, quite laughable. A two star rating was generous under the circumstances. I’ve had a much better experience in neighboring Fort Walton Beach, race track road store where the pizzas are consistently tasty. Pizza hut’s wings rates stars above Dominos’......

Simply dropped it off at the wrong house, said delivered on the app, walked outside multiple times to double check nope. Map showed it delivered 10 houses down. Called the shop, punk kid said no “I delivered it”,we said yeah but at the wrong house, came back with an attitude and proved us right as he said the wrong 4 digit address for the house..we corrected him, and less than 10 minutes later called our phone and said “yup in the driveway been here the whole time” lol no you haven’t and obviously scooped up our order from the cold porch it’s been sitting on for 10 minutes and brought it to us. Couldn’t even make us a new pizza. Little Caesar’s tasted 5 Star compared to what we were given. Pathetic driver, lazy sounding manager who seemed to not care..Overall poor food, terrible customer service, will make a hot pocket next time. Btw multiple pizzas and wings etc..so no, couldn’t have made all that fresh and to our door in less...
