The Burger Forge — Restaurant in Van Buren

Today was my first trip to The Burger Forge and I was pleasantly greeted by all staff including the owner.

The back story for the new restaurant is interesting and there's a cool print of the old food truck behind the counter. It just shows how hard work and determination pays off.

I ordered the Dragon's Breath burger and the texture of the spices infused into the smash blew me away as well as the beer battered onion rings. I don't normally order onion rings so I didn't know what to expect. The batter prep and care pays off because the rings are pulled out with the ideal texture and flavor. They taste perfect by themselves or with ketchup or ranch.

My tab with drinks and a side was around $20 which is priced right when you consider the service, atmosphere, and kitchen quality experience you encounter here. I was so blown away I want to tell everyone I know...

These were some unusual and tasty burgers. I chose the chile verde single pattie. The bun was sturdy, though cold on the bottom. There was a mound of fresh lettuce and the homemade verde sauce. It was not really as spicy as I was expecting. The patties are really thin which makes them larger to fit the bun and also easier to eat. All burgers come with a large amount of yummy fries. Our group of 4 all thought the burgers were a little pricey, but I must admit it was a unique burger experience. Additionally, both of the staff members we interacted with were friendly, hospitable, and wore a smile on their face. You can enjoy the interior decor while waiting on your burger. First time trying was at the food truck. We showed up while they were closed for afternoon break/cleaning/prep, but they still provided us with service and food. These burgers are, without any doubt in existence, the BEST burgers in America! I got the bacon ranch, chefs kiss and my friend got The X (consisting of TEN PATTIES). Quality of meat, sides, condiments, and all add ons are top notch. They have upgraded to a store front on Fayetteville Rd which I will be visiting today! Cannot wait!
