Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe — Restaurant in Vanport Township

Best hot dog shop you can ever go to. If your not into hot dogs they have EXCELLENT burgers. Add a little chili and cheese on that burger and it will be the best you ever had. When my wife was pregnant we ate here 6 nights a week and 1 day a week lol i tried everything on the menu and can honestly say it is all very good. Not your typical hot dog shop dog chow texture foods all good with somewhat of a home made taste in there. And that 1 day a week was on sunday for breakfast. Which may i add is also excellent. I always ask them to cok my fries and home fries a little longer so the chili and cheese dont make em soggy and i have em cook my homefries a lil longer just bc i like em that way..i dont know what else to say except if you havent tried this hds yett you are missing out. Its great food at a great price all cooked right in front of you. No extras in this food and it cooked in a clean kitchen..go try it.. Ohh yea they got really good milkshakes to ..ok im done lol over all great place give...

On June 16th, At 9:29 p.m.I went through the drive-thru Like I do three times a week like I do three times a week. Gave Donna my order. Of two hot dogs with Cheese chilli and onions. And two hot dogs with kraut onions and cheese and a large banana milkshake large fries with cheese chilli and onions.I got all four dogs with water down cheese and chilli Vary little onions IF any and a small Chocolate milkshake. The frenchfries more like mashed potatoes covered with water down cheese and chilli an NO onions. They are more concerned with going home THEN the customer. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO BRIGHTON HOT DOG SHOP AGAIN!!!! I will go to Mc Donald or Windies from now on, I ALWAYS liked to supported Local Business then the big National chain. My daughter and I went the Chippewa location. I would not recommend this. The price for a side of cheese and side of chili is unbelievably expensive. They charge $1.50 for each. When I questioned why its only $.75 for extra the manager is like I don't know. So we placed our order to go and it must of been a shift change. About 10 to 12 high school kids standing around talking and not paying attention to the orders. We noticed that a girl put a large order on the counter (not in a bag) and just let it sit there.
