Spotted a post yesterday in a Shiawassee Facebook group about a new authentic Mexican spotāand Iām so glad I did!
My husband and I both grew up on the West Coast (Iām originally from the SoCal), and weāve really missed having quality birria and authentic Mexican food nearby. So finding this place felt like a little taste of homeāespecially on those nights I just donāt feel like cooking!
We ordered the birria quesadillas with consomƩ, and they did not disappoint. The quesadillas were packed with flavorful, tender birria, fresh cilantro, onions, and gooey cheese. The consomƩ was rich, perfectly seasoned, and served piping hot. Even after a drive home, everything was still hot and delicious.
Welcome to Shiawasseeāyour food is a much-needed gem, and weāre so happy...

You could taste a little lime? Very creamy and fresh tasting, with authentic cheese. The Tres Leches cake was nice and milky, but still had a light texture, and the topping was fluffy and fresh tasting. Hoping for a pork addition to their menu. Carnitas maybe? I didnāt have e time to take photos because we gobbled up the...
