Update: pizza Gorda had a Wine Dinner a couple of weeks ago and my wife loves those kinds of things. I went in to reserve a table for her and my mother to have a ladies night. The owner said he had two tables left one inside and one outside, I chose outside because really likes that. We have been to many of these types of dinners where a restaurant has their wine vendor come and show off some new wines by creating a off menu meal to showcase the wines and then offer the wines for sale after the dinner and we have always purchased at least a case of wine at these events. Well unfortunately for my wife a mother this did not happen at this event. When they first arrived they were told there wasn’t a table for them under her name. I left my wife’s name and cell phone number when I made the reservation. I even offered to prepay for the dinner with my credit card. After several minutes of trying to figure out the mix up they found the table with her name on it. Once they were seated and given the Menu for the evening the waiter said he would return with water and the nights first wine selection. Well that never happened as a matter of fact no one checked on them for the next Half hour so they decided to leave. My suggestion don’t over book your event if you can’t provide enough staff to take care of all of the customers with even basic service. Ordered two pizzas and they were great. I wanted just mention the service first. Incredible is a under statement. So friendly and professional all of the staff instantly made me feel welcome. The owner even came by and thanked me for coming in. When a place treats me like that before I have even purchased anything is huge in my book. They have won me over as a loyal customer. Read moreWOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely Fabulous EVERYTHING!! I ordered the Italian Sausage with Broccoli Rabe and my friend got the 4 cheese pizza with mozzarella, provolone, grana padano and SCAMORZA CHEESE!!!!! Its was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!! The crust-PERFECTION! We got to meet the owner, Giuseppe who is from Puglia. I thanked him for bringing me back to my Great Grandma’s kitchen when I was a kid because NOBODY EVER made the sausage and broccoli rabe like her and everyone’s that I’ve tried since then was over cooked or lacking flavor or just plain not good. This was as close as I’ve ever had and can’t wait to go back to have it again!! For desert we had Tiramisu and the crème puffs. Guys……. When I tell you I had an out of body experience…… that Tiramisu was cosmic! The crème puffs were so light and creamy ……. True quality in all of the ingredients used. Read moreWe have ordered take out pizza here a number of times and will continue to do so! Its really really good! The owner is so nice and cares about your experience. My ONLY complaint (and its a weird one) is the onions used on the supreme are DESTRUCTIVE potent. Abnormally and unnecessarily potent. I live across the street (2 min drive) and its been 10 days and my truck interior is literally destroyed by onion smell....and we keep SPOTLESS vehicles. We've scrubbed and detailed the truck several times and cant get the smell out. TWO MINUTE DRIVE. Box stayed closed/no spills. It also took nearly 4 days to get it out of my house despite getting rid of boxes and cleaning immediately. IS IT NECESSARY TO HAVE WEAPONIZED ONIONS??? Jfc. Im not happy about it. Next Order NO ONIONS. Maybe consider letting the military use them for interrogation tactics.
