Ameci Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Ventura

One bite everybody knows the rule. If you're going to eat here make sure you are ready for a great slice. This location hands down trumps any other pizza that I have had in Ventura County. On top of that, I usually end up spending on average ten dollars less per order when compared to the competition. Keep in mind though that not all Ameecis pizzas are created equal. Not by a long shout. Take for instance the one off of Rose, it tends to be a bit more doughy and a little less of a char to the crust. While the one off of Patterson in Hueneme is a bit thinner but still has a nice char.

A recommendation I would make when grabbing a meal from this location is to call em up for a pick up and then immediately head over to grab it. I have been a long time customer. I ordered 2 orders of chicken wings and after an hr still not delivered. Ask to speak to manager to explain you guys are delivering something I already paid for way past the time you said which is 45min - 50 min. I grew up in a restaurant something like that I am giving the customer. He says I am gonna give you 1 credit. So even though we ain’t gonna eat these ones and the driver while on the phone has already dropped them off you’re making me pay for something I am not eating because of your poor customer service. Being from Chicago, I'm hyper critical of pizza. I got a recommendation from a coworker to eat here after saying I haven't found good pizza in the area after trying 5-6 places and eventually I just stopped trying. The pizza is the best in the area, no question and it's less expensive than most of the other places too. I forgot to ask for party cut and I'm a bit confused why they did a 16" pizza as a pie cut, but no hard feelings, pizza is pizza. Toppings were fresh, sauce was great, and the crust was good even if it is a NY style pizza. Honestly the only place I'll be getting pizza from while I finish my time...
