East Ventura welcome this hidden gem and do yourself a solid and take a trip to Pacific coast grill! This is the truest form of a hidden gem I have come across. Nestled in an older little shopping center that has no rhyme or reason Pacific Coast is bringing out some amazing food that you would have never imagined! a central California classic, tri tip is taken to the next level. here. The tri tip sandwich a layered on a ciabatta roll with the perfect balance of bbq sauce and special sauce so you get al the flavor and no slop. Melted Swiss and arugula and a classic tri tip condiment of fresh made pico de Gallo! The balance of flavors was absolutely perfect!!! The wife got the rustic chaser salad with chicken and this was top notch! The avocado cotija pepita dressing was something I could eat by the gallon full ! Really friendly staff and great lunches! Love their crispy chicken sandwich! Not a fan of the 'nice little salad' that comes with the sandwiches bc I hate dandelion greens, but their french fries are amazing. The desserts they have there are always so tempting, too. I have never tried the cannolis bc I'm trying to cut back on sweets, but every time I come I have to fight myself not to buy one. One day I will lose that battle.

I will say it's a bit $$$, but well worth it for the amount of food you get. Just one sandwich is enough to keep me full all day long.

The atmosphere is really kitschy and cute. The sign outside is hand drawn and the art on the wall of the different foods they serve there are just too cute. Many people have raved about this place, but we found it to be over rated and over priced. My husband ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and fries, and took the order home. I ordered the Reuben sandwich and sweet potato fries. The beef brisket was tough and stringy. Either they didn't cook it long enough or cut it in the wrong direction. The sweet potato fries, ordered without salt, had salt on them. I ate or rather choked down half the sandwich (most of which was rye bread and sauerkraut) and some of the fries. It was probably one of the worst meals I've had in a very long time. I called the woman to tell her how disappointed I was and she apologized but did nothing to remedy the problem.
