If you’re looking for an extraordinary dining experience in Ventura, look no further than Zaytouna bites From the moment I walked through the door, I was welcomed by the warm and inviting atmosphere, perfectly setting the stage for what was to come.

The menu is a delightful journey through Middle Eastern cuisine, featuring an impressive variety of mouth-watering dishes that are sure to please any palate. Each dish is crafted with the freshest ingredients, bursting with flavor and authenticity. I was particularly impressed by the falafel which was a perfect blend of spices and textures.

What truly sets this restaurant apart is the kindness and passion of the chef. Their dedication to creating a memorable experience is evident in every bite. It’s clear that they put their heart into the food, and it makes all the difference.

Whether you’re a longtime fan of Middle Eastern cuisine or trying it for the first time, Zaytouna bites is a must-visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough, and I’m already looking forward to my...

An absolute hidden gem!

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Zaytouna Bites, and what an incredible experience it was. Albert, the owner and chef from Syria, is a true gentleman, welcoming, passionate, and dedicated to authentic Mediterranean flavors.

The food was exceptional, easily the best falafel in the region! Perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, exactly as they should be. The shish tawouk sandwich was fantastic, especially with the garlic sauce and fries tucked inside, a traditional street-food touch you rarely find around here.

Albert even treated us to samples of za’atar and lahmeh sfeeha bites, both absolutely delicious. And the hummus and baba ghanouj tasted just like homemade, rich, balanced, and full of heart.

I only wish we lived closer, because we’d be regulars! If you’re anywhere between San Francisco and LA, it’s definitely worth a detour to stop by this authentic...

A hidden gem with the best falafel in Ventura! Everything we've had at Zaytoun Bites is delicious and fresh and served with a friendly smile. The pita is thin and works well as a wrapper for the falafel, vegies, olives, labneh, and tahine or other items. The eggplant makdous is tasty and interesting. The chicken shwarma is a hit (you can order it as a "pizza" too). There are many options for vegetarians! We've enjoyed everything we've had in our two visits so far and will take friends when we go back. We recommend the Zaytouna breakfast for two, a feast served with yummy, uniquely blended hot tea. You won't be disappointed. The restaurant is tucked into a corner by the laundromat and you can eat there or take to go. We've done both and the food is...

I can't say enough amazing things about Zaytouna Bites! This place is a gem. The food is so authentic and delicious - it's genuinely better than what I've had in my own country. Out of all the Middle Eastern restaurants I've eaten at, the FLAVOR at Zaytouna Bites outshines the rest. And the falafel... WOW. The best I've ever had. They were incredibly crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. But the real secret ingredient is the owner, Albert. He's so welcoming and creates an atmosphere that just makes you want to stay. I was in Ventura for several days and came back to Zaytouna Bites every single day. I've never done that before! I'll miss this place, and I highly recommend it to anyone in Ventura or anyone who can make the trip.

Zaytouna Bites is seriously more than just a restaurant—it's a whole vibe. From the moment you walk in, you're met with the awesome energy of Albert, the owner and chef. His passion for the food is totally infectious, and his personality makes you feel like you've been a regular for years. You can just tell from watching him that he pours his heart and soul into every single dish. It’s as authentic as it gets, seriously delicious, and a total showcase of Albert’s talent in the kitchen. But what really makes Zaytouna Bites special is that combo of Albert’s warm, welcoming personality and the food’s amazing quality. It's the kind of spot you'll want to hit up over and over again
