Thought it was a it funny the door handle still has the Asian appearance but once I walked in I was greeted with a kind, warm smile. Seated right away then asked for my drink. I was there with my daughter. The place had a few tables and there were 3 ladies working. Taking care of people even running to rush things out. The salsa was and is good. The woman who took our order was polite, insightful and knowledgeable on if certain things contained spicy peppers or not. We had an orchata and a soda. The drinks were good. The food came out in a timely manner and very warm. Although presentation for mine was not the best because I think it's supposed to look that way my daughters looked good. Flavor was amazing! I asked for a spicier salsa and the woman came back very quickly with a smile. The whole time they payed attention in case we needed anything but we're not hovering or overly friendly. They asked if we needed anything or if we were fine a few times. When we were done they removed plates fast. Drinks never went near empty. I asked if they split tips since they all helped and was told they share them. To me combination of flavor, service and price I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. We have been back several time. Decided to try the other two restaurants and we're extremely disappointed by all of the above. This is by far the best for us aside from driving to Sioux city. Even from Yankton I'll rather drive to Vermillion than eat at home. Thank you ladies for the excellent and...
Read moreEvery restaurant is had good and bad. The food is amazing and the manager is amazing. I had an issue with sauce that was miscommunication. I was confused on the name of the sauce I wanted when it was actually hot sauce which I poured all over my food and tried to eat it. The reason I thought it was called this was because I received it the time prior. This was because the waitresses don't speak full English and can cause a problem communicating. If they have an issue the manager comes out which he made my food over and gave me some salt for my burning mouth. I will say that the music when you walk in is not inviting it's by far too loud. Also I think the menus lack explanation as I only order fajitas as I don't know if I'll like anything else. But over all this is a very good place to eat. It's not cheap food I mean it costs 20 dollars with drink but it's worth it..it's good food ..as long as you don't pour the wrong sauce all over it ...my bad. Two thumbs up for...
Read moreBy far the best Mexican food I've had in a long time. Exceptional food for a reasonable price. All food was fresh and tasted clean. We had the cheese dip, steak chimichanga, and carne asada tacos. As a chimichanga connoisseur, I have to say that this is possibly the best chimichanga I've ever had. Both meals had a substantial amount of meat and a good helping of rice and beans. Chips and salsa were excellent too. Make sure to save room for fried ice cream! It was outstanding! Wait staff was kind and attentive. Atmosphere was inviting and had ample seating. There were several tvs making this a great place to watch a game. Will be back for sure....
