Humble Texan Coffee — Restaurant in Vernon

I very much enjoy this coffee place. I love going through the drive through. When I have my dogs with me, they always give me a treat for my dogs because they are In the car with me. Because of that I assumed however, incorrectly that I would be able to take my emotional support pet with me inside the establishment. I was told I could not because of their policy In which they do not allow pets. To their credit, she allowed me to take my dog with me onto the patio. I. Did not have my paperwork with me. And I never do because I had never needed to here in Vernon. I would like to see a change in that policy. Because it's getting hot and I will no longer be able to sit on the tattoo because of the weather. This is why I gave them only two stars...

One of the best cups of coffee around, can't believe we got lucky to have this in a small town. Still have yet to try most the menu but everything has been great or improved since opening. My first smoothie was a little too much syrup, but it is young staff and a new business, so be patient and understanding.

Me and my family went yesterday and was helped by the owner (didn't know at the time). After being very helpful and polite, while hyping up my niece on her face paint, he said how about you pay nothing. I thought I was a joke but he was serious. I can't say how much I appreciate that gesture as it was a little stressful day. We definitely will be regulars...

There's a service charge for NOT using cash. I'm sorry guys, we are a quarter of the way into the century, and most people DON'T carry cash. In fact a big number don't even use cards, they use digital. So to punish someone for using their debit card, that's just not right, in this day in age. Sure, the coffee was good, the atmosphere nice, and the very young, not-sure-if-they-are-even-legal-to-work girls making the coffee were nice. Place was clean and i enjoyed my time. But in this overpriced, tipping culture, inflation era, extra fees are just not going to do. Doesn't matter...
