The Rusty Spur Steakhouse & Saloon — Restaurant in Vernon

Second time going the first me and someone went we sat down they didn't come to give us menu's or anything for a while then finally came over to tell us that it would be a wait and capacity was full for the bar as well. Didn't really like how that was done because of how long we sat there for them to tell us that but it was when covid was bad so didn't make a fuss and left. It's been almost a yr if not that I came back experience was not pleasant it said to seat yourself....I did took my waitress so long to even bring a menu ordered a appetizer and waited so long for that and extra long to order my meal I had another waitress help me the check ins were far in-between while everyone around me was getting the usual ARE YALL OK and other people that came in after me food was served before mine which makes no sense got my tab with plenty of food left over wasn't asked if I needed a to go box until I was already away from my food paying I felt all kinds of uncomfortable and still gave a small tip even tho it...

Truly the greatest steak that I've ever had in my life. I do not believe these delicious, tender cuts come from cattle of earthly origin, no.. They come from cows that are raised by God himself on Elysian Fields within his kingdom where they are tended to, and nurtured by the angel Gabriel. Only when they're at their peak of deliciousness, they are culled, and whisked down to The Rusty Spur. They're then cooked to perfection by the one they call "The Great One", a master meatsmith that performs his skilled wizardry above the grill in the back. Then a plate of exquisite greatness is delivered to your table for you to consume in a state of mindless self indulgence. Don't be mistaken, this is no meal. It is a Devine experience.

Update* I have eaten here several more times to make sure that it was not an anomaly, and each meal has been just as delicious...

Their ribeye steaks are the best! They also make delicious cheese burger baskets and fried mushrooms! This place has been so good to me as far as being very reliable and cooking very delicious food over the years. Rusty Spur Steakhouse is my go to place to enjoy a perfectly cooked medium rare ribeye steak! I am a frequent customer for around 4 years. I primarily order takeout and occasionally dine in. My favorite items are the ribeye steak, the rusty spur salad (which is a salad and a ribeye steak with toast), and the cheeseburger baskets. Sometimes they carry desserts made locally that are yummy. The atmosphere is nice and they provide friendly service. Now keep in mind that they do get busy at times due to their delicious steaks that they serve! Definitely worth the wait if you enjoy a good steak! They offer bar and patio...
