Woodbridge Pizza Vernon ct — Restaurant in Vernon

I'm not sure how the pizza is here but we ordered two Grinders one chicken cutlet with extra mayo which they charged me $0.50 for extra mayo and it had no flavor I didn't even taste any mayonnaise on it I saw the mayonnaise dripping out it pf the grinder it looked so watery. My husband ordered the Golden Chicken grinder it came with honey mustard on it and did not taste like honey mustard at all it tastes like mustard and it was disgusting the bacon on it was little crumble bits of bacon the chicken cutlets have no flavor we also ordered mozzarella sticks and fried raviolis neither of those had flavor the marinara sauce tasted weird almost all of our food went in the garbage and we spent $45 only thing that was eaten was the French fries and the kids meal chicken tender for the kids because that was the only thing that tasted decent. Only thing I could say good about this place was the delivery lady was nice and the woman who answered the phone was friendly but I will never go back there the food was horrible waste of money it was our night to eat out this week and it was horrible very disappointed and took almost an hour to be delivered...

9.09.2023 update: Still the best. We felt compelled to update our review because tonight's pizza was just wonderful. We love the special pizzas they make, but a simple pepperoni and roasted onion is out of this world. One of the things we especially love is the addition of Italian seasoning as kind of a finish to the pizza. It really makes all the difference! We order at least three times a month and sometimes we pick it up and sometimes it's delivered . Frequently, when it's delivered, it comes 5 to 10 minutes early which is great when you get really hungry for the pizza. Keep up the good work. Woodbridge!

This really hurts to leave this review because I have loved this place since it first opened and have recommended it to everyone since then but lately it has been not just bad but TERRIBLE! I decided maybe it was just a bad night when it began to decline a few months ago but I have tried it several times since, even voicing my concerns and I was just told there’s a new cook and that’s why? So you admittedly know your food quality is getting worse and worse and having a new cook is the reason why but you don’t care to do anything about it?
