First time experience. Went for an encanto themed princess event. Here are some tips for anyone going for the first time: - bring a snack for your child, there is no snacks or food provided or available to buy (despite the event being hosted in the space next to the cafe). There is also not a lot of kid friendly food options around (unless you want to go next door for pizza). - entrance is not the cafe entrance, it is the side entrance. This was not communicated anywhere - not on the website, ticket or even in the door itself. - parking is street parking. Things that I liked: - the "princesses" outfits were spot on for being outside of the theme parks. - the decor is beautifully pink - cute craft for kids (but could be improved) Things that need work: - CRAFT - could have been easily improved and made a time extender in 2 ways: 1. Have the "princesses" sit with the kids first and create a list of different "powers". This would have gotten the kids thinking, connecting with the "princesses" and extended the time. It also would have been a list the "princesses" could have used when helping the kids write down their powers on the piece.of paper. 2. offering the kids to color the doors before putting stickers on them. Using washable Crayola markers would keep the space clean and the clothes protected. - Other activities: there was a royal jewels activity which was fine. Other than the craft and jewels the "princesses" really just danced with the girls. And then there was an odd Luisa inspired strength competition. I wish they had started the whole event off with a sit down story time where they told the story of Encanto. (Shorten would have been fine too). This would have easily taken the place of strength competition. - it would have been royally nice (pun intended) to have a place to hang or place jackets. - it also would have been nice if Mirabel was more verbally active. She barely engaged the group. She absolutely participated and talked to girls individually. But the leader was 100% Isabella, which depending on how you look at it, could fit the characters but... still most of the little girls their came to see Mirabel. Overall this is a great idea, but for $55 and 30 minute drive I hope some improvements are made.

I enjoy supporting new businesses, so when one small business opened recently in my neighborhood, I didn’t waste a second. Sadly my experience with my 2 year old was destroyed by the owners of this establishment. The food and atmosphere might be good but they were completely overshadowed by the horrible treatment I received by the owners/managers, who knows, nobody seemed to know each other’s role or process to get food at this place or willing to NICELY tell new customers what to do. A ā€œCarlosā€ (who seemed like he was extremely sad for having to wear pink) needs to dust off his customer experience skills (recording and pic available to whoever needs to hear this….) as insulting customers will never get you anywhere, especially when you are just starting. 100% boycotting this place and will make sure to spread the word as much as possible. Dear Co-Owner: Thank you for your reply. I needed to add the following after your note, you need to offer the new cashier a raise as she was the only one that was professional at your establishment. And ā€œCarlosā€ didn’t intervene…. As mentioned, I have a recording of the conversation and happy to share for training purposes. Lastly, your turning the concerns back to me, your client, and my past reviews only shows lack of ownership and desire to improve. Reviews are reviews and you should see them as necessary feedback when things AND people at your business are not working. Your establishment is messy and disorganized as other people have said in previous comments, so you need to re-set and figure it out and some of the staff (ā€œCarlosā€) are mean, unwelcoming, unprofessional and shouldn’t be handling customers. Thank you for understanding.

We visited today and I must say, this place is a 10/10!! What an AMAZING experience. The staff and team were so friendly, professional and provided great suggestions from the menu. We had the Oreo croffle which we loved. Macarons: perfection. The filling in the pistachio Macaron had the perfect balance and was not overly sweet - just right šŸ‘ŒšŸ½. The raspberry macaron had a jelly filling that tasted fresh. Latte: 10/10 Cake pops: 10/10 (my kids loved this and loved the princess theme) Customer service: great! We met one of the owners who was so warm and so kind! Overall a great experiencešŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰. The amazing view of the park was an added bonus. Our kids loved the princess theme (and so did we adultsšŸ˜‚). You instantly feel happy when you walk in 🄰 Highly recommend! We can’t wait to visit again.

Editing review…I returned for a second time to celebrate my youngest 2nd birthday on a Saturday. Prior to coming I communicated with Martha and she reassured me that the cafe would be open for its regular business hours. It was a total of 8 ppl, 5 adults 3 kids and it was great. Customer service was great and everyone was attentive to my requests. It was perfect and met my vision of what my little one’s intimate birthday celebration would be like. Thanks again!

Very cute space, I must say! Every little and adult princess would love to spend a few hours here. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My biggest issue is that although the cafe hours on Saturday is from 9am - 3pm, there’s a possibility that it closes early because the event space has been rented out for a party, which is what happened this past Saturday. For months I planned to go there with my two daughters (22 months and 4 years old) as well as my other mommy friend with her 2 year old, which was traveling from Far Rockaway, NY. We made it there around 12:15 started to order when we were then told we would have to leave at 1pm because that’s when setup began for the event. I had been planning g this trip for at least a month to then finally get there and be told that they were closing at 1. It was a bummer as we had to cut the experience short. This was a mommy and me celebration for my upcoming birthday and I essentially no time to celebrate as both me and my friend had to make sure the girls ate, drank their cute drinks and tea, and we took enough video and pictures to make sure we at least had a few memories. The pizza was great, the rosemary coffee, amazing, and cotton candy mocktail was yummy. The rainbow grill cheese was the least of our liking as the cheese had a different texture than your average grill cheese, so it was left uneaten. We didn’t get a chance to get any sweets as we were rushing to get out. I asked one of the employees if there was somewhere that noted that it was going to close early, as I had checked the website the day before and didn’t see anything about an early closure. She stated that it was posted on IG, which I did not recall it coming across my feed but, personally I feel like if this is the norm, the website should at least state to check Ig for possible early closures. I know I wasn’t the only one who missed it as other customers were showing up after they closed and was unaware of the early closure. As we took pictures out front we encountered 2 families that had their girls in princess dresses as well and were very disappointed in the early closure. Lesson learned! I definitely plan on visiting again but will have to ensure that nothing will impact our visit, so we can enjoy some...
