MI CASA MEXICAN GRILL — Restaurant in Versailles

The wife and I often get Mexican takeout. We were passing through Versailles and decided to try Mi Casa. We were surprised because it only took 10 minutes for them to prepare our meal, but. The salsa tasted like tomatoes and heavy cilantro. We didn't eat it. My chimichanga had huge chunks of unseasoned dry chicken in it. I had to cut open the chimichanga and pull apart the chicken myself so I didn't get only a mouthful of dry chicken with each bite. I had my wife try the chicken on the chimichanga and she offered to cook me something else. My wife's taco had a whole slice of tomatoe on it like you would put in a hamburger. My wife and I agreed we are never eating here again. If it was one thing that would have been forgivable but bad salsa, bad chicken, and bad food preperation by not shredding your chicken or dicing your tomatoes? A couple good things were the chips were fresh and crispy and the rice was cooked...

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants after just one visit. The place was nicely decorated and clean. The service was fast and courteous. They served The customary chips and salsa. Regular margaritas is below average. But the spicy margarita is amazing!

The Mi Casa fajitas are great. Wife gets the Tiger special every time. We’re loving a local Mexican restaurant in Versailles. We get carry out often.

It’s not quite as good as our local favorite Mexican restaurant by Greenville fairgrounds though....
