We go to the location at Six Shooter on Lake Tenkiller. Decided to try out the restaurant in Vian! It did not disappoint! Great atmosphere, friendly and fun staff, clean restrooms, there is a back area with a small patio on the back of the building. But we sat inside and watched the tv’s and enjoyed the AC! It was hot today! Queso is very creamy! Guacamole was creamy as well. Normally like chunky quac but this had good flavor. The food came out in a timely manner. It was hot and the flavors were consistent with the other location. I was pleased about this, because we had some family come up and see us and they love Mexican food and I told them it would not disappoint! And it did not! The only thing that I would say they could improve on was the size of the cups they use. I like the bigger wider cups so they don’t have to fill it up so much. And if that’s my only complaint, then you’re doing something right! The rustic nachos are one of the best deserts I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant. The chips had the texture of sopapillas! I wasn’t ready for that! We got them to go because everyone was ready to pass out in the restaurant! The portions are big! The burrito was huge, and yes I took it down! I had the meat sweats the whole way home! But did dip into the desert nachos! Well done guys! Thank you to the staff and if your around Vian or even in I40 trying to find a place to go, 100% Rustic Cantina...
Read moreThis is the happening food place in Vian. Small town friendly service and interesting decor with some photo-worthy decor. It looks like a small place on the outside, but it’s much bigger on the inside. All seating in the front dining area is at booths and bar. Nice single-person bathrooms are on the way back to large patio/meeting room. They have unique local-named tacos that are all really good. Order and pay at the counter. They have tap-and-pay. Yes! Wait staff the bring orders to your table.
1/6/23 Update: Get The Brush Pile! It has all 9 of their tacos. Great shareable option. My daughter and I shared it. Parents and brother sampled a few as well. Felt like it would be a good amount for 2-4 people depending on how hungry you are.
1/20/2 Update: Okay, wait! Get the nachos too. It’s HUGE! I tip my hat to you if you can eat the whole thing by yourself, because it’s not one of those mostly chips and hardly any toppings deals. LOTS of toppings. We had the one with...
Read moreMy husband and I enjoyed our first time at Rustic Cantina for the Halloween costume contest. Service was prompt and friendly enough. It was a little busy but the servers seemed to stay engaged. The food coming out could have had a better system as our food was taken to a different table first but not really a problem. They had our drinks in stock and beer on tap was cold. The menu was full of flavorful items. We ate light with the dip trio. Chips were fresh, light and crisp. Guacamole was really good, queso rocked and the salsa had a smoked chili flavor. A little different but good. We are already planning our next visit and the catfish tacos will be tried. Edit: they have plenty of tvs and you can request a channel if you'd like. That was a nice touch to customers. We were able to watch a...
