Sweet Roo’s — Restaurant in Vian

My wife and I stopped in Thanksgiving week at this lovely little restaurant and had a fantastic breakfast. Love their giant coffee cups. Breakfast was wonderful but what really blew me away was their apple fritters. I just love apple fritters and I must say theirs was the best I've ever had. Not greasy at all like so often at places and just the right amount of icing. Not caked on it. Wonderful flavor to the bread. I would go there just for the apple fritter and I live three and a half hours away hahaha great service and really nice people. Walked in here thinking it was just a donut shop but was pleasantly surprised they had a whole breakfast menu! It had a lot of great options. We got a breakfast burrito and toaster and they were quite delicious. The pricing was reasonable too. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming, checking up on us and refilling our coffees but giving us the space to just hang around too, no rush. Breakfast was superb! 3 hungry guys walked in, got 3 different plates, nothing bad! Short stack pancakes, fresh fork tender chicken fried steak (not frozen, pre-breaded junk), ham steak (with bone still in it), sausage patties that were crumbly and full of flavor.
