Grand Buffet — Restaurant in Victoria

My family and I had went in to eat on Easter Sunday (I know it’s been a while but point is…), getting ready to pay, my daughter had forgot her card and simply stated that she was just going out to get it. After a few minutes while still outside the female cashier was instantly calling the cops and taking pictures of our license plates as if we were trying to run off, which we weren’t. Next thing her and the ‘boyfriend ‘ were outside arguing with us and cursing towards my daughter, son and son in law. My son, being the generous person that he is went back in to cover what was left of the bill. You would think that the pettiness would end there but it did not. My son, being a new resident of Victoria was definitely not trying to have any problems with any one in any way. The terrible service still continues when my daughter in law is required to go in to order and pick up deliveries yet you would think that the misconception of it all would be forgiven and moved on however these people will grudge till the end. And sadly, my son and daughter in law can no longer enjoy. Word of advice: Please remember to take in your method of payment so that you won’t have to...

Me and my family visited Victoria Tx during the weekend for the first time to visit family. Before we headed back home we were told to try grand buffet. We decided to give it a try. We walked in and were not greeted by anyone. The food was not good. The chicken nuggets and fries were hard my kids couldn’t eat them and the rice had a sour taste to it. There was little kids running all over the place while we were trying to eat. Come to find out it was employees kids running around. As we were leaving my brother was paying for his little family and I told the lady I needed to run out to the car to grab my card and as I’m at my car getting my card she was at the restaurant door on the phone with the police accusing me of stealing . The lady , her son and one of the other guys came running out at us yelling and cussing at us. Will never step foot in that restaurant again they were very unprofessional. What an awful experience. Took my dad for his birthday. The food was barley warm. It all tasted old. The noodles were saugey and the rice was hard and old. Nothing really tasted good. We had 9 people so I expected a gratuity to be added and it was. But when my 81 year old father went up to pay he was asked if he wanted to add a tip. Not only was the tip already added the service was not very good. We had to keep asking for drink refills. My dad didn't realize the tip was included and he the gentleman he is he said yes and added the tip. They knew it was already added.
