Las Palmas Mexican Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Victoria

This restaurant sucks do not put the customer first my family is from Victoria and would not be coming in here anytime soon we asked for chips sauce took us 10mins waiter never asked if we wanted refill I ask what special for cinco de mayo didn't know had go ask I decided to get a beer rita favorite drink purchased it several times before drink came out not good only taste ice and beer no lime taste stop a waiter due to our waiter not checking on us told them about my drink he never came back so I took my drink back to the bar bar went to get the manger he said can't get you any more alcohol for free and I can only put certain amount because of the law I responded by saying just want the drink to taste better that's it O I forgot to tell you MANAGER I know the law been Police Officer for 18yrs I was not asking for free drink Went back to table order fatjaits did not come out hot I can tell been in the window for longtime just asked for to go plate look if you were anywhere else besides Victoria Tx THIS RESTAURANT WOULD BE CLOSED DOWN DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY NEVER AGAIN I WOULD SPEND MY MONEY AT...

Ok first of all the food was aiiiiright! And their tortillas are NOT homemade..and I don't need the the manager showing me a plaque that they are "the best" TACKY! Second... I have a problem with the margaritas. "Frankie doesn't make fresh margaritas on the rocks..its premixed and it wasn't happy hour, plus you should gave a option, not forced to drink a premixed margarita and top it off 🤨 ..so what I'm saying is.. you do NOT get an option of a fresh top shelf margarita even though on the menu they have different tequila on the menu..as if it's a choice. You make your business on drinks and "Frankies"or frankaritas, are weak AF..so he and the waitress said you can use the top shelf as a topper... that was a shocker for me! So ok..i did just that. I added Don Julio, and Grand Marnier..because it was premixed it was mediocre. A few friends and I came here to have dinner and drinks after a long day. We were catching up, laughing, and having a good time. I had two margaritas, then our waitress came over and started interrogating me asking how much I’ve drank today and attempting to cut me off. For TWO margaritas, two!! After that all of us stopped drinking and the vibes at our table completely changed. We stopped drinking not because I needed to be “cut off”, but because we simply felt uncomfortable with the workers now watching our every move. I mean seriously, what kind of Mexican restaurant does that? All I’m saying is that if the rumors are true about y’all moving to El Paso’s spot downtown, you sure do have some big shoes to fill when it comes to service and the bar itself. I suggest a better environment, let people have fun, and at LEAST get a bar menu with some good drinks! I will say the food is good, but never have more than two margaritas, you’ll...
