Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Vienna

Yesterday I was 30 creamy milky ice cream cones down in the Vienna, Illinois Dairy Queen. My tongue buds were so frozen, but kept yearning for the icy, milky creamy goodness. Brain freeze. Brain freeze I thought i was going to die but then I thought about my wife and daughter that's probably sweating their butts off while visiting my in-laws in Venezuela so I had another one. The workers were so polite that I had already dropped about $80 in one sitting. After popping a Lactaid, I thought God bless America and God bless this DQ! But seriously this place is amazing sometimes in the morning when I forget my coffee, I will go by a Dairy Queen in the order, a couple cups of gravy to settle my tummy before my journey. TWICE this week we were met with NO greeting, can I help you, can I take your order, nothing. There was 5+ people goofing off and talking and laughing behind the counter, never making eye contact or acknowledging customers. Sunday, we did order ice cream but were never actually asked by the person at the cash register if they could help us. He just stood there with no eye contact. The ice cream was very good and the place clean. Wednesday, we tried to eat and again, people were laughing and socializing behind the counter. We stood there for a few minutes and just left. Cashier seemed to have a little attitude after I jokingly said, "Oh, do I get my money back?" after she flipped my blizzard upside down and some fell out. There were no paper towels and the toilet paper was very low in the female bathroom (single use bathroom) with a long line behind me. When I went to tell the cashier about the conditions of the bathroom, it seemed like it was an inconvenience for them to take care of. Also, when I went to leave, I noticed the trash can near the outdoor eating area was overflowing with trash. Would not recommend this DQ due to the unfriendliness of the staff and unkept look of the building...
