UPDATE I don't know if they changed Chef's, but the food took a drastic change for the worse. For to-go orders ... You ask for extra gravy and you don't get it. The food was dry and bland. I highly recommend to you, Mohnen's, hire a better chef or chef's.

When we first went there, I had the Eggs Benedict and my forever had the Biscuit n Gravy with a sausage patty in between the fluffy biscuit. That was yummy.

We had their Baked Chicken dinner on a Sunday - it was excellent! Real mashed potatoes too. The gravy isn't that great and the corn tastes like it's from a can.

Chili is not that good. The Chicken Dumpling is good if it's one of the soups for the day is on the board. We got a container of it from the fridge to go. It was a little to salty for my taste and had barely any dumplings.

This yummy restaurant is located in a small strip mall. We drove past it the first time but turned around and there is was. It was Valentine's Day morning and so it was a little crowded already. It was worth the wait, which really wasn't that long if you enjoy engaging in conversations with people you don't know. We ordered potato pancakes 🥞🤤. Perfect melt in your mouth kind. I ordered bacon and that too was done just the way I like it, oh and it came with applesauce. You have to eat the whole thing. The wait staff are so friendly, efficient and careful to meet your needs. What a grand way to celebrate. Just went to Mohnen’s for the first time today and had the BEST breakfast in a really long time! The wait staff was awesome and so nice, despite having to deal with an unruly and extremely rude/loud customer at a different table. Restaurants and other business are just opening back up and adjusting to new ways of having to do business to keep their employees and customers safe and healthy. Sometimes this might require some patience from people who are choosing to go out and have other people cook for them.
