First time here. Arrived around 6PM on a Friday night. Had to wait about 15 mins to get a table, which was understandable. I didn't really understand the theme of the restaurant. It was like a brewing restaurant, mixed with a car junk yard. There was a lot of decorations in the restaurant. Service was good. Our waiter constantly came by to check up on us, and our water. Enjoyed our time here. It was pretty busy, but the restaurant was pretty spacious, that I did not feel so clustered. Food we ordered: - House-Breaded Cheese Curds I have never had cheese curds with jam. Both combination together was odd, but not bad. For a not fancy, foodie person like me, it just tasted like grape jam. Presentation was pretty. - Blueberry Lavender Gin Fizz I could barely taste the alcohol, and I am one who usually do not like strong mixed drink - but this drink, it was almost as if they only poured 1 drop of liquor. The drink was good though. - Angus Sirloin Perfectly cooked. This dish was delicious! I enjoyed every single last bite. - Bleu Nueske Pizza It was ok. I expected more from this pizza. Felt like it was missing something. The edge bread of the pizza was dry. I've had better, flavorful flat pizzas. - Three Cheese Mac Dish was definitely different from your normal kind of mac and cheese. When I first tried this dish, I knew something tasted familiar. If you are Asian & eat ramen noodles, 10/10 you will also taste this too. This dish tasted like someone made some mac and cheese, and had a packet of mama ramen noodle dry seasoning laying around, so they decided to mix the two. The cheese in this dish wasn't the star, it was the ramen noodle dry seasoning. It was very overpowering, and I did not like it.... Tasted too much like mac & cheese mixed with Mama Shrimp Tom Yum Flavor Noodles. Overall, the food was ok. I probably would not come here again, unless I am wanting that Angus Sirloin. It was a good experience though, to see how new restaurants are trying come up with new food combos. To me, the different food ideas was almost like a broke college student who had these random food laying around and decided to make something with their ingredients.

We ate here while visiting the area and staying at a hotel on the other side of Plover Road. My wife and I both enjoyed eating here. The facilities were very nice (although the projection TV was a bit washed out while we watched the Packers game). Both of the beers we tried were excellent. My wife had a grapefruit beer and I had the Founders Bourbon Barrel Brown Ale. I had just walked 19 miles on the Ice Age Trail so we ordered two appetizers. The mussels were disappointing. They were cooked well, but there was very little flavor in the sauce. The Charcuterie board was Excellent!. We expected a few cheeses and we did have decent portions of three varieties of cheese. The several types of salami complimented the cheese well. In addition, there were nuts, figs, dried cranberries with some crackers and bread as well as a delicious jam. My wife had the squash/blue cheese salad with added chicken breast which was good. My Guajillo Salmon was also excellent with flavorful flaky Salmon and a tasty corn and black bean salsa. We would definitely eat here again. The music (a blend of oldies such as Frank Sinatra and Jimmy Durante) was good but seemed odd to accompany the football game. Our waiter, Connor, was attentive and did give some good suggestions for beer. We even took a growler of the brown ale back to our hotel.

I stopped here to have lunch while in Plover and it did not disappoint! The waitress who greeted and seated (and served) me was super friendly! I decided a burger would be great for lunch, but opted just the build my own based on the waitresses suggestion. Probably because I couldn't make up my mind 😆. The beer menu is extensive and rotating. There is an overhead screen displaying what is currently available. The wait was about 8-10 minutes. Not bad for lunch time. The burger was really good! Most don't come on a soft brioche bun. And they seared the bun so the edges were crispy. Just the way I like it! Tje toppings were great. I didn't expect actual mixed greens as opposed to bland lettuce. The meat was cooked medium. And while the waitress didn't ask how I wanted the meat done, it worked out. I would go back again for and don't hesitate to recommend Mikey's.

I found a hair in my food Wednesday July 6, 2022 at Mickey’s of Plover. I had ordered the Spicy Southwest Burger and it came with fries. I was enjoying it until I noticed the black hair at the bottom of the fries. I immediately contacted our waiter who apologized, removed the plate and returned to our table informing me that he will comp us one beverage. When I questioned why a drink and not the meal he then changed and comp’ed both drink and my meal. I asked if kitchen staff work face masks or hair nets and I was told they wear caps. I asked to speak to the manager and Abby was not on duty that day and I was offered the bar manager but I turned it down. I got one more apology from the waiter and the check. My wife had stopped eating her food at the time I found the hair in my food and we did not wish to take left-overs home.

I did not feel this complaint was taken seriously. Or at least I feel the staff was not trained to respond to situations like this properly. Leaders should come out and be hands-on with customers, willing to listen without saying anything without talking around issues. I do not know if our waiter took a picture of this to show Abby. There was no offer for a replacement meal, they did not ask for my information to follow up with me.

I will not be returning to this restaurant due to its lack of care in contaminating food to...

The food and drinks are fantastic. The service, not so much.

The last time we were there, we were told we couldn't seat our self at the bar, because the waitress wouldn't know we were her responsibility. We thought, okay, makes sense. The hostess sat us at one of the High Tops in the bar area. We sat there for 15 minutes. No one even came up to ask if we wanted any to drink. The waitresses kept looking at each other asking each other who's table that way. Mind you, our group of 3 people were one of 3 total groups in the restaurant. We decided to leave. The hostess asked us why we were leaving so soon, we told her. She grabbed my arm said "No, don't go!". We went back, waited another few minutes before someone came up and asked us what we wanted. We gave her our drink order, but she never gave us any menus. This went on and a second (different waitress) asked what we wanted to eat. We waited a short time for our fantastic (as usual) food. We waited about 10 minutes for the (3rd) waitress to come up and clear out plates. No apology. Just an excuse that no one knew who our waitress was. Never once did they ask us how the food was, or if we wanted drink refills.

I'm sorry, but having a similar experience for the last 5 times we went isn't worth the food. The only time I will be going back is if a group of friends suggest it for a birthday....
