Subway — Restaurant in Village of Plover

Very disappointed with this subway location because the person working this evening! I went in and ordered a meatball marinara on flatbread with provolone cheese on it! All went well till the person pulled the sandwich out of the toaster! Then the events unfolded when we got to toppings! The worker was trying to pull the sandwich off of the trays they use to pull them out of toaster which almost ended up as him spilling a whole sandwich in the lettuce a meatball fell off of it into the lettuce and he was like you want that and I was like yeah then he proceeds to throw the meatball in the garbage can! Then my sandwich was just sloppy and messy and not even a sandwich I had to eat it with a fork which I never had to do before as it’s supposed to be a sandwich! The worker then apologized which was good however he was kinda smirking and giggling that he served a shitty product! If I could rate this location a zero but you have to atleast give a 1st at review! I’ve gotten food here several times before and it’s never been this kind of experience at all! Seems like this location has gone down hill! There was like a female manager there sitting on her ass with a grey tank top on watching over him and she didn’t seem to notice as she was sitting on her ass! I haven't been to a Subway in a while, and it was my first time at this establishment. We were really hungry, but were looking for something lighter on the stomach. This Subway has a great selection of sandwich options. I enjoyed the new menu items since I love pretzels. We visited during the busy lunch hour, and the establishment was bright, clean, tidy, organized, labeled, and smelled delicious. I used the restroom and liked the nice bright green Cintas implements. I wasn't sure when to order my foot long pretzel and ordered it at the end during checkout. I figured I would need to wait while they heated it but the employees still apologized for the wait and even rewarded us with some cookies. They quickly and easily filled everyone's order and it seemed like many groups of people were staying for lunch. This was a nice Subway and I'm proud my town has this food option close to my home. I was really happy to be greeted by an enthusiastic employee. They were working on my order by the time I even walked up to the counter. It was great to have employees treat customers like they matter. It makes a world of difference, the smiles were a plus as well. She gave me a great recommendation that I found to be much more satisfying than I expected. The store was clean and orderly and both employees seemed to care a great deal for the position they were in. I wish every fast food experience shared this level of posative influence in my days.
