So many of my friends have enjoyed eating at Eric's over the years. It is a lunch time staple for many in and around Vineland. I have been stopping from time to time because I like their pizza and some days I just crave a salad and pizza. However, as most of you realize, mediocre service seems to take the best food down a notch. Their breakfast is very good. I am anxious to try some sandwiches like tuna salad. The owners are always in the restaurant. However, I noticed they have problems keeping waitresses except for family. I will continue eating there sporadically as many restaurants in Vineland have closed. They are certainly better than fast food. I posted a picture of a salad which I believe cost me $4.99, which I feel was either overpriced or the salad was way too sparse. I mentioned that to the waitress and she offered to get me some more salad. She made a point out of telling me there was one piece of pepper and two red tomatoes in every side salad. I think that is a poor policy. At one time the salads were better as I could expect more peppers and onions as well as black olives. The total meal for two generous slices of excellent pizza, one homemade iced tea and the side salad was approximately $12. I left a $3 tip.

Food was good, the young man that served us was wonderful, but the actual owners of the place need to learn personal space. They decided to sit down and INTRUDE ON OUR TABLE'S SPACE, literally blocking my mother from being able to leave until the man felt inclined enough to move his chair. Classless behavior from the owners, I will never sit in the restaurant again. If you want decent service from the people who run the place, order pickup. I hope our host finds better employment elsewhere, because him and his fellow young staff members were better at customer service than those men. In my mother's words "Eric's has gone to hell"

This is one of our favorite spots to eat. The owners are so friendly and always present and welcoming. The staff is always happy to see us and genuinely treat us like family. I usually order the same thing every time - honey crunch chicken sandwich - if you haven’t had - get it. It isn’t on the menu but they always make it for me. Occasionally I will get the Calypso Chicken salad which is always delicious as well. This is my favorite place to visit once a week and if you haven’t stopped in - I recommend that you do so.

I used to like this place better.

It went down hill.

Today I ordered a bowl of crab bisque. I mistakenly said "bowl"instead of "crock ",so I ended up paying $ 11.99 for it. Not worth it.

The cost would have not bothered me so much had they bothered toput enough crabmeat in it.

Had scarcely any crab meat.Period

It was mostly roux I found LESS than a half teaspoon of actual crab meat in the entire bowl.

What a rip off.

The waiter was nice , however.

Eric's became penny wise and dollar foolish.

No wonder regulars don't frequent there like they used to.

I may think twice before deciding to patronize...
