Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Vineland

Honestly, took way too long to write this review. Pizza has been bad and below average for the last 3 years, dk why I still give this PJs the time of day. Order from them and from grub hub and 9x out of 10 we don’t get the extra 8 sauces we pay for, which are extremely over priced. Never the guy to give a bad review when it’s not really needed but wow it’s been years and y’all never changed. Hopefully something changes, y’all are genuinely bad. No excuses. UPDATE: 06/09/25 some things never change. Thought I learned my lesson, still went went back. Pizza was much better but didn’t come as New York style as requested and paid for. Browse the pictures of the sauces please. Mind you it cost $1.25 PER SAUCE. Also paid for a single garlic Parmesan sauce that didn’t even come. Might as well add that I called after placing an order to make sure they didn’t forget the extra sauces because it happens so much. Hate to be such a complainer but WOW can you guys get a grip after all these years? I hope people read this review and pray that a higher up would see this. Seriously, do better. Absolutely ZERO standards. I guess at this point no one out pizzas...

If I could leave no stars that would of been better second time I am going through an issue with no resolution. Waited for pizza for over an hour. Was told it was sent. Elbert Johnson decided to hang up on me when I asked for employee names to be able to call corporate for the disrespect. Received cold food and waited literally 1hr and 45 mins. Zero resolution. after being told to refuse my order , I asked the employee as a mother that children had been waiting for food would you refuse order and wait for someone else to deliver her reply was no I would of picked it up! Let’s be real. What’s delivery for?! Run away from this ghetto establishment. Elbert Johnson said he made the order himself that he can asure it was not cold I asked for him to send his driver back if he didn’t believe me.. how wouldn’t it have been cold it left the store at 9:17 I received order at 9:54pm make it make sense.. I ordered at 8:15pm and driver pulled out or trunk so uhm I didn’t know he had heat in the trunk. Of his old school Honda accord with 2 doors. Let’s be real… bs...

The manager, Elbert Johnson, has some maturing to do because a good manager he is not based on my experience today. I called to let the store know my pizza wasn't the way I wanted it which was only an issue because my kids will not eat sausage on their pizza, and the chicken wings were over done. I didn't expect them to do anything since it was delivery, but hearing me out on the matter would've been the courteous thing to do. Mr. Johnson is incapable of extending this common courtesy. He wouldn't listen to me and instead blamed me over and over for the way I ordered the pizza through the app. When he wouldn't listen I did raise my voice, and then he asked if I was "OK." What childish sass for a manager. I asked for his name and the corporate number and was hung up on. I had someone call back to get his name. Is this who Papa John's wants representing...
