Vito's Pizza — Restaurant in Vineland

I ordered 4 pizzas from there tonight and one of my pizzas was supposed to be The works without mushrooms, olives, and anchovies. When i got the pizza it was only pepperoni, onions, and green peppers on it. I called the store to let them know and the manager called me a liar and saying d that they know they put everything else on it and i need to open the box and look. I told him i opened the box and looked, hence the reason i knew what was missing. He still argued with me about the pie being correct and i wasn’t looking at it good. I told him i could take a picture and send it but he still kept going on. At this point i became very upset and started yelling back at him. He then said he was going to remake the pie and bring it and that if he sees the pie was correct he’s going to be upset. I told him I’m already upset and that I’ll be here waiting for him. When they got here with the pizza it wasn’t even him, he sent someone else. When the other person saw the pizza he said oh wow it is wrong. I told him yes i know, and i didn’t appreciate the owner calling me a liar. I called the store to get an apology and the manager wouldn’t even get on the phone to apologize, instead he has the lady that work there apologize for him. She offered me a free small pie thinking it was ok. I told her i felt disrespected and that a small pie couldn’t make up for what happened. I told her to let the manager know that i would be posting a review about this experience and that it would be my last time ordering from there. I ordered on uber eats, and spots like this can be hit or miss. they either go crazy on the price or just serve sub par food. They don’t have the same price for their lg pizza special (kinda figures as uber takes a cut), and a few things i think are a bit over priced. I settled on the lg pizza with the boneless wings and a 2L. after tip came to mid 40s. the actual food, it came with celery and utensils. I love celery normally, but this celery was especially sad. It looks like someone tried to grow it in a basement. very pale in color and just…ugly. so I gave it to my dog and was intending on complaining in this review. then I opened the boneless wings(??? you mean nuggets or chicken bites lol) and they were kinda soggy. taste was fine, size was decent, but was going to add it to my grievances on my 2 star review. then came the pizza. I pulled a piece out of the box, and i felt as if i was on TNMT. the cheese was melty and gooey and cartoon like. A little on the greasy side, but definitely not as bad as i’ve seen before and as it could have been. I took a bite, and knew then why the celery was so bad, and the chicken was so unimpressive. Vito’s pizza has a pizza that is very good, in fact i thought it was great. Id rate the pizza itself a 8.5. Crust held it back. throw some seasonings on that bad boy and we are in action. after my first 2 slices I forgave the celery and chicken. it’s gone from a 2 to a 4 star review. adding pics...

The girl that they have answering the phone is a rude Mexican.. disgusting rude ! messed up my order ;. Called back and asked for a manager and she answered she was the manager not to call again. I paid for the food to be deliver went back to take the food that was delivered wrong and got charged $10 more.” The girl who told me was the manager was now the driver according to the actual manager ... there was a girl who said “work behind the counter “ ((more than likely the “manager” )) beware when calling this place. A simple “ma am I’m sorry or not even a sorry just say we must of had your order taken down wrong let’s fix it would of been better than I’ll send the driver to get the wrong food and you have to pay for the food of course I didn’t want it for free )) so the fool was me for ordering and paying for delivery and having to go get it and pay again !. But you lost a customer and as long as that girl is there telling ppl she is the manager /driver per the manager and telling ppl not to call back you will loose a while lot more customers !
