Capone's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

The service is great and the prices are fabulous but Capone's allows people to smoke cigarettes inside their business rather than outside. This was a surprise because it is illegal to do so as of 2009: "Smoking is not permitted in bars in Virginia: Virginia Indoor Clean Air Act This act, which went into effect in 2009, prohibits smoking in restaurants and bars, as well as in restrooms. Penalties Smoking in a designated no-smoking area or continuing to smoke after being asked to stop can result in a civil penalty of up to $25. Law enforcement officers can issue a summons for violations. Enforcement The health department and police generally only take action if a formal complaint is made by the public. Some exceptions to the smoking ban include outdoor areas and restaurants on tobacco product manufacturers' premises." The cigarette smokers' made me so sick that I was forced to leave. I will not go back unless that policy changes. It's a shame because the staff is nice...

If you're not a stuck-up entitled human being, then you will enjoy the laid-back atmosphere, Cheep drinks, good looking bar tenders;p, music( that you can control), and a pool table. Sadly, I found out about this place just days before moving away. Cindy is an awesome bartender and really has the personality to make you feel like a regular the minute you walk in. Do NOT leave this place until you have one of her locally famous club sandwiches… you’ll thank me later. Thanks for the good...
