Chen's Wok — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

I ordered a General Tso tofu with brown rice and a small vegetable fried rice. I do not have anything to compare the tofu to as I was trying it for the first time but it wasn’t flavorful at all even in the sauce and it was chewy and hard in some spots. Parts of my brown rice was hard and vegetable fried rice must mean ONIONS with under cooked peas and carrots none of the vegetables were cooked thoroughly not even the broccoli everything had a crunch the color of the peas should have been a dead give away 😩 I was so hungry but this lunch was a let down maybe I will have to go later in the day for better taste and quality. I tried 3 items from the menu . The cheese wonton just wasn't tasty I tried it different ways to only way i could eat it was with hot sauce. The beef lo mein is flavorless and grease soaked just not tasty at all. Then I had the easiest to cook item friend chicken wings and french fries .. the wings were ok crispy but flavorless ate that with ketchup and it was ok. The fries were Crisp on the outside but when you bit into it it was a wet soggy mess I had to spit them out which i don't ever do with food but that was disgusting....

I have ordered from this restaurant twice before and the food was great. Yesterday I spent $57 on lunch and almost everything was awful. The only two items that were good were the white rice and the outside of the wonton for the wonton soup, the inside was terrible as well. The lomein lacked flavor and some of it had a chemical taste. The shrimp and broccoli tasted off as if it were on the verge of spoiling but had one more day left. I could go on but just know that the quality was not what I was used to and no, I did not...
