I really like the food from this restaurant and have ordered here several times (4+) . Tonight I ordered 5 items, birra burrito, chicken fluatas, papa loca, sopas and guacamole. Only 3 items showed up for delivery after an hour twenty minute wait, the birra burrito, flautas, and papa loca. I called the restaurant and a young lady answered. She said she forgot to write down the sopa order. No big deal. I then realized the guac and my brothers birra burrito sauce were also missing. Called back asap to let them know and she said she would make sure it gets delivered. The second delivery showed up about 20 minutes later with the sopas and guac but no chips for the guac or the birra burrito sauce. I called her back to let her know these were still missing and that i was disappointed but wasnt expecting anything to be done because its just chips and sauce. She proceeded to yell at me and say that someone probably ate them and she could t do anything without a picture of the food delivery. Girl I wasnt asking for a refund though i probably should have. I was just letting you know that you did a bad job tonight and ruined my family meal. However, proceeding to yell at your customer over chips and birra sauce shows the poor mentality and customer service. Do better. Be nice. Food is good. This employee...

Everything was amazing! I am visiting from NJ but have lived in the west coast and I have not even found an authentic Mexican restaurant let alone one worth raving over. This is a family owned business, and the service was pretty quick, the server was so nice and attentive, and the owner Diana even came out to see how everything was. She explained how they make everything fresh in house, including the tortillas. I have looked for authentic birria and this is it!! The carne asada fries was also amazing, the steak is not fatty at all. The quesabirria tacos were to die for, and the shrimp cocktail shots had the perfect kick and it's just all about the clamato sauce which was so full of flavor and you can taste that fresh lime and some spices, so delicious that I slurped it up. Everything had good flavor. This place is rare find in VA, and a true gem! I will continue coming back to this place whenever I'm in town, I'm going to miss...

5 stars 10/10 restaurant.

I’ve mostly ordered takeout from this spot, always going for the carne asada tacos — and honestly, they’re the best I’ve had from any Mexican restaurant. I load them up with everything they offer: grilled onions, jalapeño juice, lime juice, guacamole, and both the red and green sauces. Not sure what kind of sauces they are exactly, but they’re a little spicy and pair perfectly with the tacos. The base is already solid with flavorful carne asada, diced onions, and fresh cilantro. As a serious taco lover, I’m hooked.

I finally dined in for the first time on Cinco de Mayo to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and the experience was top-notch. The $5 margaritas were strong and delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Shoutout to the male bartender/server — great drinks and easy on the eyes! This is hands down my favorite taco spot in the 757. Truly authentic Mexican...

8.6.24: Quaint place to enjoy authentic Mexican eats. Bar area was clean and organized. The seating area was comfortable. The atmosphere was cultural. We couldn't enjoy our food because my colleague found a long hair in her beans. There was no way I was going to eat another bite of my food. I appreciate the special order for a veggie fajita. The few bites I did consume were enjoyable, but no bueno! Initially, I believe the situation was handled by the server with good demeanor, yet poor business relations. We were still going to be charged for the non-refillable drinks and plantains we did not finish. However, we did stay and consulted amongst ourselves, and when I went to pay the bill, the server informed us that we did not have to pay. I believe that this was the most fair outcome. I appreciate the change of heart and good business relations. Needless to say, I was very hungry when I got home. 🤣😂
