Everything I am about to discuss in this review is not only disturbing but absolutely terrifying when it comes to customer service. For dinner my family and I decided to order Pizza. Chanellos are usually our favorite so we decided to give them a call. This is where the horror begins. I called this store and the phone rung non stop for 8 minutes. So I hung up and tried again, figured they were busy. Called back the second time; it rung for about 5 minutes and a young lady picked up and says “hold on” and puts the phone on hold (confirmed by the sound of music playing). I could tell by the young lady’s tone that this experiment was not going to be pleasant. But again, I gave the benefit of doubt and thought when she gets back on the phone maybe her tone would be better. 20 minutes go pass and I am still on hold per the hold music. So I ended the call. I called back and after about 5 minutes or ringing someone picks up the phone and just sits it there. I am completely taken aback at the blatant disregard for customers. So I sit there on the phone saying hello and they sit there with no response; nothing just sitting on the phone. So I hung up again for the 3rd time, also I have decided this would be my last attempt. Once again I called they picked up, said nothing and just sat the phone down. They refuse to take any orders or speak to anyone. This was so unprofessional she never even greeted me on the phone. She never talked to me; nothing. This young lady and this store needs to be reported and rectified...
Read moreOrdered a pizza well before prime time, around early 5ish, because I know how slow chanello’s is. Placed order, pizza was supposed to get here at 7:30, pretty typical. I thought that was great. But then time came and went, and tracker stopped updating an hour earlier on “we’re making the pizza”, so I called. It rang several times before someone even picked up, and then I was placed immediately on hold with no chance to respond. Waited about 10 mins then hung up.
So since I don’t know when my pizza will be here, and I’ve already waited ample time, I’m just going to have to chargeback the purchase on my card, and order from papa johns because they’re clutch for times like this. Disappointing, I love chanellos pizza, but can’t be asked to be patient for some mystery time pizza.
Edit: pizza arrived 30 mins later. The driver was extremely polite and respectful, so raised the rating from 1 to 3. Chanello’s, as a corporation, you should try to help your workers by putting estimated times for bigger pizzas(the big boy would take forever to cook I imagine), and not a one size fits all for every pizza. Or have a busy tracker for the store so customers will know what to expect. I blame corporate, not the staff. I really do love...
Read moreIt's rare for someone to say things about a business if everything is done right, the first time and time and time again this place, has! I have had soo many good pizzas made perfect to my expectations but never told them! Today, it was not perfect. My wonderful delivery driver, Steve, came and was so kind even when I told him my pizza was wrong. He told me the best way to get my correct pizza and sincerely apologized for the mistake. He asked me to call the manager , Carl, and that he to would make take care of my experience. I called Carl, he was so kind..apologized for the rare mistake I got and even gave me options on how to make me happy for this. I chose the best for me, and Carl and his crew worked immediately on making my pizza right and delivered faster then the the time quoted to me. STEVE, came back again, with the perfect pizza and again apologized. Every pizza place can make a mistake but how they responded and with all the options to make sure that I was satisfied afterwards, makes them my ONLY place I'll ever eat with.
