Tasty. Expensive. $46.55 for the following: a single burger, a double burger, one order of truffle fries to split, two fountain drinks, and a modest tip. (Two of us ate for roughly $23 each.) There was a tip option very strongly implied during checkout on the PIN pad; mind you, ordering is done at a counter, you essentially ring yourself up, a tray is brought to your table, and that is where service ends. You dispose of your own trash and return the tray to a counter. Just the facts. Service was polite, friendly, and pretty quick (although it was early Saturday afternoon with a half dozen patrons...) Possibly 10 minutes between order and serving. We actually tried to visit Friday evening but the store was packed to capacity. Takeaway, you're paying a premium for a boutique burger. I wouldn't eat Corner Burger regularly for the same reason I wouldn't eat steak every day. The food is intended to be appreciated and enjoyed, not exclusively digested. This is not Burger King. The food is not fuel, it's artwork. Also, as with many boutique meals, the food at Corner Burger is RICH. The wax paper on my food tray had a substantial oil stain. Not an obscene amount, but substantial. Again, not something I think anyone SHOULD eat every day. As for the food, as far as I'm concerned, for the price... It's delicious. Worth pretty much every penny. The burgers were creative, but solid flavor combos. The truffle fries were super tasty. Chipotle mayo was an excellent condiment. I felt like the BBQ sauce was a little light, but I wasn't really paying $23 for a burger hidden by too many condiments. I will also say, the burgers came out just barely warm, and I think a few degrees warmer would have been a little more palatable. All in all, I'd recommend it to anyone with the budget at least once. (And then maybe once a month after that!)

Casual burger place with nice decor and amazing burgers. The fries are pretty awesome too. Best burger I have had (eating out) in many years. I had the Tijuana Poblano without the standard veg (Lettuce, tomato and onion), but otherwise no subs/changes. I never do that. I always get sauce on the side, etc. But...this is perfect as is. Just the right amount of everything and the flavors really complement each other. I had the hand cut fries as a side and they were perfectly crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside. The salt used to season them is salt perfection. My husband had the Whiskey River BBQ Chicken sandwich with the corner fries as a side. Equally as delicious as mine. YES! Yes I did steal I bite. But I shared mine too. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Crispy outside, juicy and tender inside. The combo of toppings amazingly delightful. If mine hadn't been so good I would have regretted not getting this one. Service was a nice option. You could choose counter service or table service. We sat and ordered from the app, which automatically records the table you are at. Staff brought us cups for our drinks promptly and when out food came up it was served quickly. And with a smile. Looking forward to going again and again. So many combos to try. Photo is of the chicken sandwich. I was too hungry (the smells <3) by the time the food came out (very quickly, but the smells) to pause for pictures.

WoW!! Just left Corner Burger in New London. I had to wait for my second visit to post a review in case the first phenomenal experience was a fluke. It was not a fluke. Amazing craft burgers and chicken. The combination of humane and natural ingredients makes for sensational sandwiches. The fantastic servers were attentive and friendly. We spoke with the owner both occasions and he’s a very friendly guy passionately enthusiastic about his food. Outstanding place. On this visit We had the “champagne chicken” sandwich and the “Goat cheese and fig jam” burger (with pumpkin spice cheesecake for dessert). We cut the sandwiches in half and shared that’s why the photos seem a bit off. Our first visit we created our own burgers which were great but the crafted burgers on the menu are ridiculously good. Don’t let the ingredients scare you. Do yourself a favor and try their crafted burgers. The ingredients balance each other so perfectly that you will be amazed. Delicious thick straight cut fires come with the crafted burgers. The photos show their fires covered with Parmesan and onion rings that we had as appetizers. If you like burgers you will LOVE Corner Burger.

I really wanted to give this place a higher rating but based on this visit I just can't do it. First the food and drinks were very good. Overall the server was friendly and prompt with table visits. Where this place took a dive on our visit was the prompt delivery of our meals. My wife and I received our meal in an acceptable time but our kids food didn't arrive at the table for another 15-20 minutes. All I received from the server was that it will be out shortly. Anyone who has young kids knows that when it's time to eat it's time to eat. When the check arrived the kids meal remained on it. No problem, we got the meal and our kids ate the meal just would have liked a little more communication with a table visit from management. I did ask the server before tipping what the story was on the kids meal. She responded with that she forgot to place the order. I told her I appreciate the honesty and that she saved her tip.

Overall the food was on point, great beer selection, and the server was a delight aside from the huge mistake. Mistakes happen but I was most disappointed in the lack of management involvement. For this reason it's highly unlikely I visit again.

Update: 12/19/2018- In fairness to the establishment, I have been back- twice! Both visit were great. Food , beer, & service were outstanding! I will go back many more times. Sometimes it's a one off & in this case everything tells me that it was the exception to the rule...
