No matter how much you want it, don't order the mexican paella, It is not what you think it is. In this restaurant, a paella is an expensive soup that is not near what a real paella is. I didn't return it because I never knew the feelings of the cook after having to prepare something else if you know what I mean. I tried to eat it and chocked with a piece of broken clam shell. For me , that was it, I could not go on. I explained the server , what just happened and as a Hispanic we know what a real paella is, but hoping for the manager to come and at least say something for how unsatisfied I was with the whole situation, but no...no body came , no body apologize on behalf of the kitchen. They didn't just care about it. It is not our first time in this place, so sad it come to this. Other than that, the server that can do so much, no manager to say anything. Only the servers understood and, as always, provided a great service. Everything else on the menu is delicious judging from pass experience, Last note, stick to order beer .. they also suck in cocktails. They are not good and...
Read moreGood Mexican food with many options to choose from AND lunch specials. In an area without endless options, i really appreciate these guys for the food they offer, the kind customer service i’ve always received from them, and now with the pandemic, their clear focus on cleanliness. when the pandemic first hit, they were the first restaurant to have thoughtful accommodations to both remain open and keep customers like me safe, while no doubt putting themselves at risk. they were the first i saw with a banner offering call in orders and curbside service. i mention this to say, that level of thoughtfulness, attention to cleanliness, and willingness to adjust on their feet shows through in the whole experience and makes me feel confident and even excited to order food from them in a time like this. As for the food, it’s flavorful and nice portions. i have only had one hiccup where sour cream was on my nachos when i asked for it not to be. the mistake was corrected quickly and kindly. 100% would recommend, especially now. looking forward to trying the margaritas when the...
Read moreFood: The food was mediocre across the board. The chips are basically tasteless and the salsa that came with them was watery and bland. The steak fajitas were not much better. The grilled steak and vegetables were burnt and had minimum seasoning. Sides like rice, guacamole, and refried beans were passable. Dessert was the worst. The fried ice cream is colorful, but is essentially a ball of vanilla ice cream caked in lukewarm, chewy corn flakes. Just unacceptable.
Service: The service was decent. The waitresses serving me were pleasant and very prompt.
Decor: The restaurant is decorated like an outdoor villa patio with faux stucco wall paintings and tile floor. It was quaint and enjoyable. A birthday celebration included a guitar serenade and a stylish red and white sombrero for the birthday boy.
Cost: $25 Diet Coke Chips and Salsa (gratis) Steak Fajitas Fried Ice Cream
Recommendation: If you have no other options and crave something similar to Mexican food, try it. Otherwise, you're probably better off going...
