Firehouse Subs Forest Road — Restaurant in Virginia

i came here to get yummy, delicious sandwiches as my friend had recommended firehouse. due to the lack of signage to where the entrance was (which im not used to as i came here on a vacation from Birmingham), i ended up inside of the dumpster. see, i thought this was just the way Americans did things over here as I'm not very culturally educated. This is because the crime rates and schooling system where I'm from is not the best and I lived in poverty for a lot of my life with a single mother and stuff was very rough until i got my Cambridge scholarship. (40k). My dad taught at Cambridge even though I never met him, I thought going there would make him proud of me and make him want to meet me. He is dead. To rabies. So back to the dumpster, which is practically a metaphor for firehouse subs itself. I get inside of this and since it was quite windy, I turn in shock and find the door has shut on me. I am extremely claustrophobic due to being stuck in the closet under the stairs during childhood while living with my abusive aunt and uncle, until one day a letter came through from a mysterious owl which they ripped up. Over the weeks a curious case started and we kept getting more and more letters. It was obscene. Until this weird 7 foot ISH guy came round and told me i had been admitted to Cambridge. It was such a joyous day and felt so magical. In the dumpster however it was not. I was extremely scared and confused and I kept screaming for help for hours and banging on the dumpster until help came. Help did come, in the form of an angelic black haired goddess. She is my saviour. I will never forget her face. She hoisted me out of the disgusting dumpster. I no longer wanted a sandwich so I left, however on my way home I was met with a cop who thought I was some guy who was on the run for vandalism on dumpsters multiple times.. I was taken in for questioning and had to pay a 300 dollar bail before being declared innocent. This would never have happened if firehouse had clearer signing for foreigners to show where the door is. 0/10 experience would...

today I went to firehouse subs for the first time in my life! I usually go to Subway exclusively in Bedford Virginia. However, I wasn’t forced today and wanted to try firehouse.

I have to say the sub that I got was the best one I’ve ever had in my life! I ordered the honey ham, medium sized on wheat bread. It had cheese and other veggies that I added on the sub. It was cooked to perfection and it was delicious. Like I said the best one I’ve ever tasted. I’m so glad I came here for lunch today.

I also ordered the oatmeal raisin cookie and a soft drink. The cookie was very tasty as well. It was freshly baked and had great flavor. The soda that I ordered came from their magic soda machine! I got the Coke with vanilla and also cherry and cream soda flavoring. Very delicious drinks

The price for the food was reasonable. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming to me since it was my first time there. The guys in there look like they do a good job working to serve the customers and making delicious food.

The restaurant was very clean and well decorated. I also contributed to the firefighters by rounding up my purchase. I like doing that to help people.

This place is a joke and they have hateful workers!!! I ordered my food online paid for, 30 minutes before I come to pick it up. I show up to a building filled with 40+ people and no pick up area…. They then proceeded to tell me I have to wait in a line of 20 people to get my already done order!!! Then sends me outside saying it’ll be quicker. I go outside to that window nobody comes.:.. go figure! They also have 5-6 team members working so they won’t short handed…. I just want to know why the hell I had to wait in a 20 minute line for my already paid for & ready food!!! I’m livid my entire lunch break gone because of rude careless people I will never go back. I tried to contact corporate I didn’t even want my food after the experience! That was just the dumbest thing I’ve ever went through. & to have uncaring not understanding people seeing that I placed my order ahead of time because I’m clearly at work and only have so long to get my food!!! Just dumb. I thought firehouse cared I’ve been to them for years but I honestly won’t go back after that experience!!!!
