Typically when reviews are written the idea is to not only share your experience but to list both the pros and the cons to offer other consumers a honest, fair chance at buying what suits their wants and needs. Today, however, doesn't seem to be the day to elaborate on any of this company's weaknesses as I cant seem to find any, so their strengths will be all you'll receive from me. Upon walking into any restaurant the first thing that catches my attention is the cleanliness, and this establishment immediately provided me with a sense of ease as everything seemed to be practically immaculate. It's not rocket science to figure out that a clean environment always gives the purchaser the perspective that the company cares about the health and well being of others and to know that it's often times associated with how the consumer might compare it to the sanitary conditions of the kitchen. I know I do, and to me that gave them their first win. Their second win was that their menu wasn't overly complicated and not only offered traditional style pizzeria options, it also offered a few takes of their own (which sound incredibly delicious and I can't wait to try!). Upon ordering, the staff were not only friendly, they were lighthearted and made the entire experience memorable, offering suggestions when asked of their most popularly requested menu items. We kept it traditional this visit and ordered a simple pepperoni pizza, and mildly put, sometimes simple is better. At first sight, I already knew my palate was about to be pleased. The wood-fired, brick-oven gave it that light, crisp crust with just enough dark spots to heighten the flavor and give it the right bite. The crust being a little on the thin side, which happens to be my favorite. Add in the fresh sauce, cheese and toppings and it was sheer perfection! And might I add that their prices are beyond reasonable and fair!! I have to say that I am new to the surrounding area and have been looking relentlessly to find a pizzeria worth eating from and have been beyond disappointed over the last 6 months up until now. Sourdough Pizza might be 40 minutes from where we reside, but it is so worth the drive and they will be seeing a lot more of me and my family. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!! I wish I could give you more than 5 stars, as...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I were arriving home from a trip and we’re going to be back late. Having worked in the restaurant business, I know how annoying it can be to receive orders close to closing. I placed the order an hour before closing knowing it would sit on the rack or inside for about 20-30 minutes before we got there, but would rather reheat my pizza at home than be rude to workers. Upon arriving at about 8:45 (15 mins before closing), my pizza was sitting outside and they had closed. I was exhausted and kind of shocked and grabbed the pizzas. When I got back and told my boyfriend he was disgusted and said he didn’t want to eat it because it could have sat out there for the 30 minutes it was probably ready for. It is summer, there’s bugs. Food sitting outside in humidity with bugs is a lot grosser than sitting inside an AC building. On top of that, we were missing a honey butter and ranch which is about $4.50 we paid for. I called the restaurant today and explained why I had ordered it early, and what happened. The manager explained he had packed the order and there was nothing unsanitary about it. He made several snarky remarks about how was I was lying, there was nothing wrong with the order and he was justified in leaving early (before closing because he wanted to). Not only this, but he called me a second time to give me more sarcastic responses and then texted me “hope you enjoyed.” He also said “when you walk to your car your foods outside” as if food sitting outside in hot humid weather with bugs and a walk to the car is the same thing. Customer service is awful. An apology would have gone a long way rather than a spiteful refund. Manager was hateful and lacks basic customer...
