I asked the folks here if the pretzel was vegan, and it is if you order it without the butter on top. (It’s an 8 minute wait for it to be baked). She did double check with me that “cross contamination possibility with egg” was okay, so that might also color your decision. It’s more bready than I expected. But it was really tasty! And the bonus of having one made special is that we got it straight out of the oven. Nice and toasty. Num num. they have both guldens brown and French’s yellow mustard packets. I understand that Busch gardens wouldn’t think many vegans would visit the park (considering they’re owned by sea world) so they don’t really accommodate us very well, but if you didn’t plan well enough and bring enough of your own food in, this is suitable to carry you over until you can find a restaurant outside the park.

The German pretzels and beer at Busch Gardens Williamsburg are awesome. The pretzels are warm, easy to grab, and not messy at all which is perfect when you have small kids with you. Pairing it with a cold beer makes it even better. The beer selection is actually pretty good and the best part is it is included with the dine all day pass so it makes grabbing food quick and hassle free.

Pay for the pass for food every 90 minutes. Let’s be honest. It’s a waste. Still paid 54$…. Ask an employee what is included and only the pizza pretzel? What? Even a regular pretzel wasn’t included… so you must know what you want and what’s included before getting the food pass.

I came by during Christmas Town this weekend and the crowd was crazy. I purchased the pizza pretzel and pretzel bites and hot dang was it underwhelming. Not only was it almost $30 for some pretzels, but the pretzel bites looked almost like hotdog buns that were cooked as if they were pretzels? I'm not sure how else to describe it but it was certainly quite disappointing. They also didn't even have standard pretzels available at the stand for...

My go talked about how good these were when she was here 4 years ago so we tried it and was very disappointed. The pretzels were hard and dry and it wasn't busy Saturday so I'd think they weren't sitting out to become stale. We had the pretzel nuggets and ham pretzel sandwich which were not good. The cinnamon nuggets were fantastic, and the chips knocked it out of the park. Sadly the homemade super pretzel isn't part of the all done deal...
