Hardee’s — Restaurant in Virginia

I've been here before for lunch break. Never a bad experience. Customer service always on point as far as cheerfulness goes and today is no exception. Only difference today is I decided to get a sandwich instead on tenders. Don't normally do sandwiches because most come with cheese but I saw one that had BBQ on it instead. I wasn't mad at first because the cashier Brittani couldn't hear me from my side of the vehicle (I deliver mail). She wrong me up for tenders instead of the BBQ chicken. I try to correct them when I get to the window and they repeat the total to me. It should have been around 8 bucks for the total. They then ring me up for a chicken club. This one comes with cheese. I wanted to correct them but they were standing far away so when they came back to hand me my purchase I asked if they wrong me up incorrectly because it said it was a club and it was a 60 cent difference in price since it came with cheese a bacon. I was assured that they were the same thing and it should have no cheese. Trusting them I pull off and what do you know, cheese. So I pull back through the drive through and they correct my order (so I thought) but I am not refunded the difference between the club chicken and BBQ chicken. Not only that but the person making the food literally gives me a chicken sandwich with only BBQ on it. No lettuce and tomato like the picture. Needless to say I am unhappy and was going to circle through for a 3rd time to have them fix it but at this point you question the resteraunt as a hole not just an order being incorrectly wrung up the 1st time and incorrectly made the 2nd time. I don't like leaving negative comments but I felt it was no other way to vent my frustrations. Part of this is who ever designed the hardees menu. Instead of this menu item being number 12 for both sandwiches it should have been number 12 for the club and number 13 for the chicken. Had that been the case this mix up would have never accored. So if whoever is reads this thinks to reprimand my server brittani they should instead talk to cooperate for the poor...

I have enjoyed this American stable in the past. For this one day and time i was at this particular restaurant I was less than satstifed with the accommodations. I have been in the service industry for many years and from my appearance this establishment was not properly maintained. Although there one young male employee, unfortunately i did not get his name, that really seemed to be trying his best to provide good customer service. I would say that this was not what I had a expected from I restaurant chain that I frequented for the last 20 plus years. The only reason i do not totally trash this place is for the one employee mentioned, hopefully he will develop the required skills needed to move on to job were his efforts appreciated. This is not I reflection one the brand, amount, quality or expected product received. They were all in tolerance. My experience this one day at this time that at this one location will not be repeaded by me or anyone that will listed to me. The place was filthy, unstocked, and after requiring after multiple employees apparently just a social event. This was peek time for this restaurant. I'm old, early fouties but my my experiences with this industry has thought me valuable lesions that I carry with me to this day. there was no one sitting on the tables, 1 person was taking delivery orders and another 1 was getting them ready. usually when going to the register and everyone is busy. someone will always say, ill be right there with you. Nothing from this place until about 5 minutes after when this girl came and took our orders. The other person, a guy, getting everything ready was the most unkempt person I've ever seen handling food. shirt not tucked in so his belly was out, no hairnet (I don't know if it's a requirement for them) and just an overall bleh personality. I wanted to run out of there but my husband wanted to try Hardee's since the one in Mexico was really good so he wanted to recapture the taste. Anyhoo, we got our food, 2 hotdogs for the kids, the angus and mushroom burger for me and 2 regular burgers for the hubby. 1 bite from it and i spat it out. It tasted so bad, like poor quality meat (I know, what could you expect from a fast food chain, right?) but McDonald's had one a few years back and that was more palatable. It was just all out gross.
